The Ring

I had been wondering all these days why Swara still kept wearing the engagement ring, that too the one that actually belonged to Dadi. I used to wonder if it was a blooper but didn't seem like. She said she wasn't interested in him or their relationship, so why continue wearing it? Was she on some level still holding onto her memories of Laksh? I'm glad she gave it back and more so the way in which she did it. I think she got closure today and finally severed all feelings or hopes related to Laksh.

I think Swara held on to the ring because it actually belonged to dadi. She never got anything from her, so may be in a way it helped her stay close to dadi. 😕 But I sure am elated that she gave ring away in that fashion. 👏

Am definite that its the first step towards closure, ably supported by the sindoor daan and sans drunken love confession, though am sure later when he's sober and swara clears the air about the molestation, sanskaar would flatly deny. 😭
