You know the thing with Laksh's character which is consistent is that he is supposed to be a young and immature person in love and the thing that sets him apart from say swara is his impulsive nature. He has displayed this several times.
Ofcourse the cvs have also decided that his IQ will be greatly affected post marriage with ragini. Until he is in dark about ragini's kartoot this decline in IQ will continue. For me the most interesting point will arrive once he learns the truth and how he reacts to it. From that point onwards his character will either change completely or become more mature.
