Though shaadi is incomplete, it will tie swara to Sanskar.
She will give a new defenition to their relation..
Yes, sindoor is of much importance to girls.
I am from kerala, we dont take pheras, just mangalsutra, varmala, and maang filling..
Ours is the shortest marriage ever, which gets over in 5 minutes, yet mangalsutra, and maang filling is of much important.

And don't worry guys,
they are leads, they are not going to take it to the next level so soon.
And hopes when Rags turns positive, she will take steps to conduct their original marriage.
This is just for swara and sanskar to realise their feelings..

It is 100% marriage as per Hindu customs and is called Gandharva vivah.
The only place where this marriage is not tenable is court of law as all the rituals were not followed but who cares about that😆.

Further, Swara has now license to fall in love with Sanskar as it would be considered her moral duty and Lux ji ka patta total saaf😆

While I am no expert so please excuse my ignorance.

Indian dramas showcase Hindu weddings in a very loose way. I always thought that saptapadi (sacred fire circling ritual) where the promises are made and blessings are seeked and the groom addresses the bride whilw the mantras are being chanted -was the most important and ancient ritual of all to mark the most critical step of the ceremony . Sindoor was added much later and more of a symbolic gesture to declare the completion of the ceremony.

I could be wrong here and indeed there are many local customs and variations but I was just looking at the scriptural reference.

Of course in reality even traditional marriage need legal proof.

This I guess was just to show the emotional impact (esp. On swara) and transition of a "unreal marriage" to "almost real marriage".

Maang filling is fine but there should be a pandit to say the mantras ryt then I guess 80% of the wedding is complete...
N agar maang filling makes someone married then all actors n actresses would have been married to each other.
Forget all these n enjoy swasan
