Chapter 1~
*One Week Later*
Swara's Point of
View.
I sighed as I waited for Dhruv outside our house to come pick me up.. He did not return home last night.. I looked up at the sky and took note of it being slightly Dark
cloudy, giving signs of snowfall.
Thinking of snowfall reminded me of that night one week ago. Seeing the Lightning eyed boy, feeling the pinches that was left on my ears and heart when Dhruv yelled at me.
I looked down at the bench I was sitting
on and sighed once more. That lightning
eyed boy hasn't left my mind for week now.
The dullness with a slight sparkle full of danger in his eyes.
The force mixed with the angelic touch of his voice. Everything about him was perfect and that's just from what I seen under the street light in the alley.
Finally, Dhruv arrived I
climbed into the car and sat in the seat.. Because of that day..Dhruv has fired our driver.. And now he is the one who drops me to college and comes to pick me up from my violen classes everyday.. "What took you so long
today?" "Where were you whole night?' I asked him "
'Thats none of your business' replied Dhruv
Oh yaa I knew he must be busy drinking with his so called friends!
After a 30 minutes long drive, we finally arrived at the college. I grabbed my bag and got out from the car..
I walked to my college only to be join by my
group of friends. I was putting my books in my locker, listening to normalbchit chat and gossip of my friends, but they suddenly said something which caught my attention..
"Did you hear about that new criminal
that'sbgoing around town? He's is the
leader of the new gang called Devilers"
Roshini said. The girls shook their heads.
Wow Devilers sound cool.. mixture of Devil and Evil.. said Riya "He hasbbeautiful lightning bright eyes." Roshini continued. My eyes widen a little, was they talking about my
lightning eyed boy? Wait! Why I' m refering him as 'My Lightning Eyed Boy' He is not mine! "Swara, you've been aweful quiet, do
you know anything about this?" Riya asked. "No, I don't." I replied and grabbed my bag before walking to first class. I sat in the back corner, not
wanting to be bothered by anyone. Apparently Riya had a different idea. She sat
beside me and brought his chudeil friends with her. I sighed to myself wishing that they
would all shut up. I just want to go to the washroom, waiting for class to end soon.
Between lecture I looked out the
window, only to meet eyes with the lightning eyed boy. My eyes widen once again..
I slowly muttered Why is he here? Why is he looking at me? I blinked quickly and looked out the window
again to find nothing.
Maybe it was just my imagination. How
could he be here? I have lost it! He wouldn't be here.
*At Lunch.*
I picked out my normal Noodles and water for
lunch like I do every day. I quickly ate
my noodles listening to everyone's conversations. I gulped my water bottle
down before standing up. Everyone's attention turned to me.
"What? I'm just going to the washroom, god!"
I said before walking off. I got into the
washroom and quickly checked to see ifme
anyone was there. As soon as I saw no one was there I stepped in and shut and locked the door. I wiped my face...past I checked the time on my cell..pheww I had enough time to make it to my next class.
*After College.*
I walked out of my last class and quickly went to my locker. I got all my stuff together.
I rushed because I was geting late for my violin classes..
As I reached violin classes.. I walked inside main area.
Most of the girls already started practicing.
"Miss Aahana May I come in?" I asked
my violin teacher..
You are again late Swara..anyways
come in! she replied..
I sat and started playing violin tune...
and joined them all. I smiled at the girls when they finally acknowledged me.
While playing violin... I found myself lost in dark place where I' m playing melodious tune of love and
separtation.. Suddenly someone comes from behind and kiss my cheeks... Its my lightning eyed boy...and suddenly someone intrupts.. Hey Swara you are playing wrong tune..said Chetna..
Oops its then I realised all this while I was lost in my fantasy world.
Its turns 7 in clock.. Violin practice was
about to end.. I excused myself to call
Dhruv.. I have to make a phone call.
I ran over to the corner of the class and pulled
out my phone to call Dhruv . After a few rings he never answered,
he must have been drunk or high again. I
sighed, knowing that I would have to walk
home again. I checked my phone once again
before I went back to practicing.
There was a text message from my dad.
Dad : My princess, Its been ages we had a video chat..u Hope you are doing well..
This Saturday m free for video chat.. will wait for you at 6 in evening.. I replied ok dad I ll be there..
I checked date on my cell and recollected something important!
Its been 7 long years of my parents separation..
Today is the Day when 7 years back my
parents divorced and my mom married
Dhruv's dad!
Its been then Dhruv hates me.. and I don't blame him as its obvious who will
like to have a step sister.. How could I forget this day..
I sighed and ran back over to the girls,
watching them playing violin. After few minute practice Miss Aahana
told us that we can go home.
I walked outside and pulled on my jacket,
felling the cold breeze already.
I knew Dhruv wont come.. I was about
to start walking home alone when I looked
and seen the lightning eyed boy again. I frozen in placed as I saw him. He walked up to me and grabbed my arm and pulled me towards him.
"Your the girl?" He asked me. I scrunched my eyebrows up in
confusion. " What girl?"
"The girl who kept her mouth shut for me,"
I was mute .. Truth of him being Gangster haunted me.. My heart skipped a beat.. He again questioned me 'Tell me You the girl who saved me?'
I was still mute.. I guess he realise I' m scared of him as I know his real identity..
He quickly asked me 'Do I scare you?' I was about to say something but he whispered "Don't say anything." He pulled my body tight against his. We stared into eachother's eyes for a
moment sharing magical eyelock, then
he pressed his lips against mine's .. I felt current across my body.. When our lips finally separated.. He
again asked "Now tell me, do I scare you?"
"Yes You do scare me" I replied imediately this time without wasting a moment..
You are great actress.. he whispered.. 'What do you mean? ... I didnt get you' I asked
You Do understand me.. He said with a
smirk.. "I don't even know your name and you say I understand you?" I replied..
Laksh Maheshwari..He uttered.. So he is no more my lightning boy for me as now I know him by his real name..
Why you kissed me? I asked him.. Well even I don't know.. There is
definately something between us.. He replied winking.. My eyes opened wide... He realised I'm not comfortable.. "I'm sorry." He said laughing to himself a little.
I couldnt resist and smiled, he has an
amazing laugh.
"I should go now.. will meet again and
answer all your queries my dearest...? Swara.. I exclaimed..
ok so you are Swara ...Goodbye." He said quickly and started walking away. I grabbed his hand.though, pulling him back. "What?" He asked a little harshly.
I flinched a little and frowned, "When I ll get to see you again ?" I asked him. "Give me your phone." He said. I knew he is a gangster, but for some reason I
trusted him... I lied him that m scared of him when he kissed me.. infact I felt safest with him.. I handed him my cell no. as he quickly
put something into it. He gave it back to me and I looked at it.
I seen a new contact under the name of
"Laksh." I smiled
"Now my number's there if you ever
want to see me again, but trust me, I wouldn't if I was you. Now goodbye."
He said quickly and left. I watched him in awe..There is something about that boy. He's to sweet to be a gangster it seems. I sighed and shook my head, letting the thought go away. I started my journey home, ready for another yelling from my drunk step brother.
