I would first like to tell you all i'm not an Ragini Fan... I am an not Swara's fan too.. I like both of them and support both but my fav couples are SwarYa and SaGini
so nothing offensive...
I would plead all of u not to call Ragini a Villan ! Not because i am an Ragini fan as i told u i like both but cause if you would have seen the recent Promo remember the words of Ragini
She said
I love my sister Swara ... Then tell me if she was an Villan would any villan care of anyone else ?
and then she says
I have kept Laksh as my Husband... So she's Just talking about her Love? whats wrong ?
and then..
I would do anything for getting my Love ...
So she's Just Being Selfish !
No One can be an Statue of Goodness... Even if they can for an time...
The same for Ragini...
Whats wrong if she thinks that she could be selfish and get her love ?
Isnt she a Human ?
Yes agree that would break Swara's Heart But so then do you become a VILLAN ?...
1) Laksh broke Ragini's Heart so many times... So he's too a Villan
2) Swara broke Laksh's Heart so many times ... so even she's a Villan Right ?
So now when its Ragini's Turn then y are all making her a Villan ?
If she's a villan then most of the cast is a Villan ? Right ?
Point ?
Not Offensive But for me Ragini is JUST TRIYING TO GET HER LOVE !
and even
Laksh is trying to GET HIS LOVE ! so then does he becomes a Villan too ?
Please do share ur veiws
Interesting topic, cos villain is a very interesting choice word. its applied to the random evils that exist around the indian tv fandom- the vamps. as of now she is negative but I can't really fault people for using the term villain because even her negativity was extremely ill-developed just like everything else about her storyline which makes her seem like a sample of random evil. lets take sanskaar for example- we have a backstory so solid given for a relatively new character that even hating his actions, i empathize with his insanity' he saw the love of his life die in his arms and the worst part is that the perfect son was thus betrayed by his own family in someways. i get why that would drive him to hatred. Do I think its rational? No. Should he have attempted to reach out to Laksh and demand an explanation? Yes. But he didn't and I get his skewed POV.
I think with Ragini, Laksh deserves her anger, every bit of it. But the fact that she says she loves Swara and yet shows no regard for her sister, the same Ragini who could find compassion for the woman she thought had murdered her mother, thats crazy inconsistent. If she was being simply selfish and came out to Swara and said I still love Laksh I want him, you can't have him, even that would be more acceptable than this treachery and planning and making faluda out of Swara's character infront of the whole world. How easily everyone spoke of what will happen to Ragini's future now that Laksh has dumped her twice...not a single person spoke about Swara's bleak marital prospects with such a mms circulating?
Ofcourse Im guessing she was co-scheming with Sanskaar, but that does seem like the most likely route right now. That leads me to really question the authenticity of that claim made by her, does she really love Swara? If she does, then she believes her when she says I can't love someone whose hurt you so much. Then leave it at that, why scheme? Why make Swara realize her affections? Why pretend and do drama? Thats not selfish, thats vindictive without no solid reason, that unfortunately is villainy. Noones perfect but normal people say what they want openly even if it hurts the people around them, bad people make such underhanded schemes. I have never once felt for an instance that Ragini loved Swara as much as Swara loved her. I have defended that. I thought it was crazy to expect Ragini to feel so strongly for Swara cos reality is they've only been friends for a small amount of time let alone have such sisterly feelings. Ive always thought Swara's love for her was a bit over the top, and the fact she rejects Laksh so vehemently, although she does love him (I think the recent episodes are proof enough at this point), despite of Ragini's green signal, out of loyalty is crazy. But what Ragini is doing right now, given she's doing it without a greater good intent, is irrational, uncalled for and completely whack.
But fact remains, Swara has given her no reason to attack her life so crudely. When she says I love Swara, it makes me think of a legit crazy person, even worse than Snacker, who is willing to mull over the lives of the people she claims to love- Laksh and Swara, to gain the object of her obsession. I will NOT credit this insanity as love, love makes you safeguard a person and those he loves, doesn't make you destroy them so you can HAVE them. Snacker is grey cos he's under some crazy misconceptions, Ragini knows everything and yet finds no compassion in her heart for her sister or Laksh- she thinks she's destroyed Swarya but she might've actually created with her own two hands just by PRETENDING to be ok with it. what she's really destroyed, is Laksh's confidence in her, his relationship with his father and Swara's respect and her relationship with her family and not to mention the social ramifications of going to jail and being the subject of an mms that Laksh and Swara will have to face.
She would be breaking Swara's heart if she demands Laksh now, then please have her demand Laksh amne samne and you know what Swara will giftwrap him and hand him to her- because to Ragini thats what Laksh is, an object. When Laksh hurt her, it was NEVER with the intention to hurt Ragini it was always his compulsion, in fact he back tracked his steps every time just so he wouldnt hurt Ragini further by locking her down in a loveless marriage. Thats selfishness and being a NORMAL human being. Swara hurt Laksh many times with the intention to drive him away from her life so that he wouldnt hurt further and so that Ragini wouldnt hurt further. She did it to safeguard her family. She was selfish and as you've said NORMAL. But scheming and trampling on people you care about with the intention to hurt them without any regards for their feelings, thats being a villain not just selfish like a normal person.
Laksh isn't trying to get his love, you know why? Because he thinks Swara doesn't love him. he understands that she's not an object to be won and kept. he won't give anyone else his heart but he'd never force it on Swara. As much as I would like to see him be Lucky and go after what he wants, theres a begrudging respect there. Now lets compare that to Ragini's whatever it is she feels for Laksh. for her Laksh is no more than an object to be won from her sister who wouldnt even fight if she said the magic words. i can't respect that. This is unwarranted, random evil. The definition of a vamp. If the cvs wanted her turned this way then they should've given her negativity a stronger base than jilted love. If she'd told Swara- I love Laksh, and then by some strange pull of events Swarya still got together and then she turned negative, I'd be like ya ok chalo. But right now, this is baseless evil.
I think people can vouch that I don't like or dislike Ragini anymore than Swara, Im a Laksh fan. But yes, story wise theres a lot of potential in Ragini thats the cvs ignore to make Swara into a stiff one dimensional trp aunty pulling mahaan character that she wasn't in the beginning. I love the idea of SanGini and I hope that this random totally out of the blue negativity drama is to give her a compelling storyline for the greater good and to start up SanGini. But as of now, this isn't normal person selfish behavior to me. this is straight up vindictive towards everyone. I'll stand by that till they show me otherwise.
