What a regressive comment!

In yesterday's mahabharat, when Naina tells Karan that he alone can't take any decision which involves both their lives, NK interfered in between and said 'Why can't Karan take this decision? A husband can decide whether he wants his wife to be in the house or not.'

I didn't expect Naina to give back to NK because 1. She is too sweet to do that 2. She was devastated by what Karan said to think about what NK said.

Meghana had got a nice tight slap from mom just minutes before, so didn't expect her to open her mouth either.

I thought Sharada would say something in her gentle tone, but she too was shocked by Karan's statement I guess.

I was banking on Dadaji to show NK that we are not living in ancient times where a husband can throw his wife as he fancies - but he let me down.

That was one regressive and sexist comment from NK!

What more can you expect from the spineless monster? He thinks marriage is a game and a husband is a ringmaster who can control his pet, oops, wife.

Very disturbing that a statement like that was left unchecked.

No one other than Karan himself could go against that line as it was disrespecting his wife and he was about to say something too but stopped himself. I do think that he will definitely answer his dad very soon regarding that statement.
