IPL effect. Every year colors channel is the one getting a severe blow due to IPL. SP is immune to it that's why rival shows ratings didn't drop.

Colors Channel always get affected due to IPL as its viewers are not just females but males as well. This is the only channel which is watched by kids males females so this is bound to happen. SP is least affceted as that channel is watched by max. Housewives only.
