Actress Suchitra Pillai, who is seen as Sandhya Chauhan in the family drama Ek Shringaar Swabhimaan, got emotional when she visited the Taj Mahal along with her co-stars Sangeita Chauhan and Sahil Uppal.
The cast of the show visited Agra recently for promotions of the show. Later they decided to visit the Taj Mahal.
Said Suchitra, "The historical wonder, Taj Mahal was always on my bucket list. And I knew that my trip to Agra would be incomplete without visiting this monument of love. I feel that while running behind bigger things in life, we forget to admire smaller things that contribute to our happiness and something similar happened to me when I visited the Taj Mahal."
She continued, "I was absolutely spellbound and overwhelmed to see the visually spectacular that the Taj Mahal is and I couldn't help but cry as soon as I saw its beauty and serenity. I would definitely love to go back there, study the marvelous structure and have a good time," she added.
Ek Shringaar Swabhimaan, aired on Colors, traces the story of two daughters Meghna (Sangeita) and Naina (Ankita Sharma), who are willing to go to any extent to uphold their mother Sharda's (Prachee Shah Pandya) honour and self-respect.
