What a scene it was between Karan and Naina today! You really felt everything - Karan's pain, Naina's determination, both their strong emotions. NaiRan really convey so much in with just a few words that you can't help but marvel at them.
The scene continues with Naina asking Karan to not use such words like lachaar bemar for himself because she doesn't like it. She really is attached to Karan now. She then very logically says that he has made the disease very big and he is the one who pities himself. Karan counters by saying that She doesn't know what he has been through and then proceeds to explain. This was such a good scene! Samridh was fabulous here.👏 The way he had slight tears in his eyes but was still trying to hold himself together was so heartbreaking. He ended by saying that he hasn't made his disease big but the disease has made him very small. What I loved about the convo was how both Karan and Naina were right. Naina has a positive and practical view about it but Karan is the one who has gone through it. So obviously he has fears and insecurities which have been a part of him for very long. It is these that Naina needs to tackle. And she will.
Karan is about to leave but Naina says that she knows why he opened the gatbandhan as he wanted her away from his disease. And then comes the line of the episode. "Maine tumpe daya nahin ki, par shayad tumne mujhe itna kamzor samajh liya ki main ek beemari se darr jaungi." THIS. This was beautiful. She said it clearly, with no doubt. And there was a silence of 3 seconds before background music resumed, so as to give it the proper emphasis. Naina is so clear on what she wants. Karan is no less a person for her and she really wants him to get better. There is no pity in the equation at all. This is what will move Karan out of his self imposed exile.
The rest was Naina finding out about colours and cooking for Karan. Note that she did not suspect Sandhya today as she knows how much she cares for the family. Which brings me to the spoilers. While I know everybody is upset about Naina confronting Sandhya, I believe it is in tune with Naina's character and the situation. It wasn't the best course of action, but its understandable to me at least. Naina will get to know a lot more incidents about the medicines, about the cow which will make her suspect Sandhya. So its not on a whim. Also, its expired medicines we are talking about. Consuming them can have very adverse reactions. So Naina obviously didn't and can't think of plans which will take time. She is also very straightforward in her dealings. Also, it appears that she just goes to speak to Sandhya alone to simply clarify, it is Sandhya who calls everybody and creates a ruckus. In the face of all this, it makes sense to me why Naina acted the way she did. Its also necessary as she will now know that she has to be more careful. All this is my conjecture. Lets see how it plays out. But one thing is there. Both Naina and NaiRan will come out stronger from this. It will be one step forward in their beautiful journey.
