What entertaining NaiRan scenes we got today! Matlab I think this is the longest conversation Karan has ever had with Naina till now.😆 Today was all about moves and countermoves, just like in a game of chess. Both Karan and Naina doing everything to reach a particular goal. And dare I say they were equally matched? 😉 Nobody has reached Checkmate yet.
To start with, what I admired in Naina today was her straightforward manner. No beating about the bush. She tried to start a conversation with Karan but when he didn't respond, she asked him upfront about the ear-rings. And Karan was slightly taken aback. He tried to get away but then smart Naina said she will go ask everybody in the house whose it is. Poor Karan had to stop and tell her ki "ye uske hain jo meri liye bohot important hai" Cryptic much Karan? 😆 I don't think he said it to mislead her, he just said it as it is and didn't want to tell her more. But naturally, Naina's imagination started working overtime. 😆 So much so that she even tried asking Khyati. But obviously didn't find out anything.
She thought about everything Karan had said in relation to a problem and was almost sure when she heard Karan talking on the phone. That is when she walked ahead, straight up and said that she wanted to meet the girl. And Karan was very very amused. I think it was at this point that he understood what Naina was thinking and the idea was so ludicrous to him that he couldn't control his laughter. All his dialogues after that, about how she was atrangi, how she thinks whatever she perceives is the truth was for two things - one as he said about how she expects that he will listen to everything she says but also I think about this issue where she believes there is someone in his life.
Naina, not to be sidetracked, said she has a right to know. He counters saying he hasn't given her any right. To him, she is still as much a stranger as she was the day they first met. 👏 I was just applauding this statement when Naina countered it saying that if she didn't have any right and they were strangers, then he shouldn't have any problem in telling her anything, because hesitation or concern is only there if there is a relation. So while he would and should have had a problem telling Naina Chauhan, he shouldn't have any such qualms about telling Naina Solanki. He was still hesitating when she topped it by saying that he shouldn't worry so much because, as she said, " dono taraf se haar sirf meri hi honi hai." Ouch Naina! But what a point! 👏
Then comes the masterstroke. Karan says that he will make her meet the girl but he has a shart that she will have to leave after that. She agrees and he is slightly surprised. But interesting was what she said. "Agar tum uss ladki se pyaar karte ho aur vo tumse pyaar karti hai, to main tum dono ke beech nahi aaungi aur khud yahaan se chali jaungi". Wah Wah!👏 Please take note that she hasn't agreed to go simply after meeting the girl. She will go only if Karan and that girl love each other. Since we know that's not the case, she is not going to leave. Are you sure cvs that Naina has done engineering? She would make a damn good lawyer! She just inserted a clause to Karan's statement which will help her get out of the shart.😆
Then comes the Cafe scene where Karan is waiting for Naina, sees her coming and smiles at her confusion. Karan is having too much fun I tell you. 🤣 He thinks he has finally bested Naina. We will see Karan, we will see. 😉
