You know I have been a psychology student, I had taken up arts in college n psychology was one of my subject.. We had learnt in one chapter that when a child is given a toy just like that, first he is surprised and very happy then he plays with it and after a while he starts losing interest in that toy and breaks it or moves on.. N if the same toy that child had to earn, and get it with his hard collected money, he'll value that toy alot more.. N keep it with him forever..

This is a lesson for life, yuvraj got suvreen very easy at first, so he didn't want her, then he saw his toy being taken by the other guy and he got really angry with that.. Then he fought to get his toy back.. It was easy, hence he never valued it enough.. But whatever be the situation it was always about yuvraj and what he wants n how he wants it, never about the toy or suvreen.. For yuvraj its more of an ego battle..

I understood this long back.. I couldn't explain it to the die hard yuvreen fans, they would never get it.. But cv's r not showing wrong, aise hi hota agar real life mein hota toh bhi.. Insaan ka ek temperament hota hai, n jo apne aap ko cheetah kehta hai, who sirf apne baare mein sochta hai.. Usse sirf apne liye bhaagna hai..

For me its like Jab we met.. Yuvraj is the anshuman and rc is the aditya.. Aditya happily put down his love for the happiness of geet.. He never asked anything from her.. That calm attitude and maturity in rc makes me think of aditya.. On the other hand yuvraj just like anshuman thinks of himself first, meine jo kiya woh sahi, usne sab galat kiya.. Mein cheetah hoon, mein sabse upar hoon, n puri duniya mere saamne kuch nahi.. I'll fight and get my way.. Where as rc with his quiet charm just won over me..

Its not at all that he saw suvi with rc and felt he must get his toy back! that analogy does not match the original yuvi! Yuvraj had already prior to that started realizing how much she meant to him and how much he loved her. thats why yuvraj was feeling so broken and hurt when she was ignoring him after he said no to her proposal.

he didnt want to lose her which is why he initially thought staying as friends was best. but he couldn't keep his feelings restrained for much longer, bc he truly always had a soft spot for her since the beginning, and when they became friends, that was when he started falling in love. but when he rejected her, and their friendship hit the rocks, he understood love. it was his first experience with all of these things, and this was all portrayed realistically and well in sg.

by the way, you haven't seen the first few months of the show right? so there itself, you can't judge yuvi's character. you don't know what all he has done for suvreen. he was always a good guy, and an amazing support, friend to have. how he always was there for her, always supported her, helped her, became her best friend, and started to feel something for her. which then he didnt understand and didnt want to ruin his friendship with her, so at first he didnt rush into a relationship with her. but he realized as time passed, what those feelings were and he couldnt brush it aside anymore. it was not at all that she was a toy for him, and he was never interested in the toy before and it got placed in his lap.
