CHAPTER 1
The cafe is empty. Smell of freshly roasted cofee seeds filled the air.
"Coffee... Naro hoti toh pakka 2-3 cups pee gayi hoti!" tells Suvreen to herself.
The previous week had been full of surprises for her! Her very first fashion show was a huge sucess. Her dad had finally agreed that she can survive in the fashion world. Vivaan's birthday bash. Most of all, India had won the FIFA cup, all thanks to her Cheetah. Speaking of which... "Ye Yuvraj kahaan hai? Ussne toh promise kiya tha ki woh aayega. Lagta hai traffic mein phas gaya. Ya shayad uske coach ne usse rok diya hoga... I'll wait for another half an hour aur fir usse call karti hoon" saying this, she got up and ordered a coffee.
(Suvi, Yuvi, and the gang are back to Delhi)
"One coffee please"
(Yum!)
Seeing the coffee, she remembered the coffee wala episode...
~Flashback~
It had almost been a year since Yuvraj left DPSC.It was the last day of college for all of them. They all had graduated! After the college party, they all had come to a cafe to celebrate. Every one had passed with flying colours; toh party toh banta hai na! 😉
Anyways, they all entered the cafe (its empty), when it started raining.
"Oh no. Barish! Hum waapas kaise jaayenge?" asked Annie. She was a bit tensed
"Arre yaar Annie! Abhi abhi hi toh aaye hai aur abhi hi waapas jaane ki baat kar rahi ho tum. Tension mat lo. Aur mujhe lagta hai ki barish jald hi ruk jaayegi..." said Rathi. But before he could finish, a loud bam of thunder was heard and it started raining heavily! Everyone gave Rathi that angrilly and gave him an evil smile 😈
"Main... Main kya karoon. Maine toh bas kaha ki mujhe LAGTA hai barish ruk jayega..." said Rathi
"Shut up" said the others
"Guys! Ab yahaan safely cafe ke andar hai toh chalo coffe peete hai aur yahi par wait karte hai jab tak baarish rk nahi jaati" said Naro. They all went to a table and sat down and started chatting.
(You guys need to imagine the cafe now. Near the door, there was a waiting area. There are two floors- on the first floor, its self service, no AC; on the second, the waitors will serve, and it has AC. The gang are on the second floor)
Suvreen to herself : "Itna shor hai, par phir bhi ye khamoshiyaan. Bheed mein apne aap ko akela mehsoos karti hoon. Kyun? Kyun Yuvraj? Kyun tum hum sab ko chodkar Canada chale gayye? Kya tumne ek baar bhi apne friends ke baare mein nahi socha? Mannu, Rathi, Annie, Naro.. Aur... Mere baare mein? Kya tum bhi hum sab ko utna hi miss karte ho jitna hum sab tumhe karte hai? Pata hai, jabse tum chale gaye, sab bahut sad hai. But everyone's hiding it. Duniya mein sabko inke jaise friends miley. Unhe pata hai ki agar woh sab tumhare baare mein baat kareinge toh main rone lagoongi. Iss liye. No ones talking about you. Ek baat bataao, Canada pahunchne ke baad tumne humein phone kyu nahi kiya? O haan. Min kaise bhool sakti hoon. Ye Mr Yuvraj Singh hai... Or should I say, Mr Kanjoose Singh! Mobile balance khatam ho jaayega, iss liye na?". But Suvreen knew that this was not the reason due to which Yuvraj never called her till now. Not because of his mobile balance. But becuse he could'nt face his friends. He would obiously cry if he called and Yuvi obviously didn't want that!
Ever since Yuvi left, Suvreen felt as if there was a huge hole in her heart. That heart could be filled only by Yuvraj. Her heart felt awkwardly heavy.
"What say Suvi" interrupted Mannu. It was then she realised that she was once again lost in her own thoughtsabout Yuvi.
"Suvreen!" said Annie waving her hand in front of suvi's eyes.
"Sorry. Uh... Haan... Correct" she stammered. She couldn't let her gang know that once again she was missing Yuvraj and make others sad and also herself sad.
"Dekha, Suvreen bhi maanti hai" said Mannu.
But, every one knew that Suvreen was thinking about Yuvraj.
"Aap order karna pasand kaeinge?" asked the waitor.
"Oh haan! Hum toh bhool hi gayye!" said Annie. They all placed their orders.
After some time, the waitor came with the coffees.
Everones coffe was like this (Suvi still didnt get her coffee). On the saucer there was a small envelope with their respective names. The gang was surprised! 😲
"Kya tum logon ke saucer mein bhi wahi hai jo mere saucer mein hai?" asked Mannu.
"Haan" chorused every one.
"Mujhe toh coffee ab tak nahi mili" said Suvreen
"Aa jaayegi.." said Rathi. They all opened their envelope. (The same thing was written on everyone's letter)

They were all shoked to read it.
"Kisne bheja hoga?" asked Annie, breaking the silence.
"Pata nahi" said Mannu
"Kahi... Bhai ne Yuvi bhai... Nahi, aisa kaise ho sakta hai. Woh toh Canada chale gaye" said Rathi. Even Suvi was shoked. She had read Annie's letter. Finally, Suvreen's coffee came.
Even her saucer had an envelope with her nme written on it, along with a red rose. She opend the envelope and read her letter.
"Main tumhara pati banna chahta hoon, aur tumhara password bhi. I Love you"
While Suvreen read her letter, Annie and Naro also read it.The three were confused. "Kya likha hai? Bataao na" said Rathi and Mannu together. Annie read out the letter aloud. After listning to the letter, they were also shoked. hey blankly loked at each other. Then without a word, they all got up and hurried downstairs.
It was dark over there. Finally, a small beam of light came fron no where. It was a spot light. The spot light came on them. Then a voice was heard.
"Jab mein iss andhere mein tha, tab tum logon ne mujhpe ye spot light giraaya. Meri zindagi ko light up kiya. Ab meri baari. Iss spot light ko tum sab deserve karte ho" said the voice
"Guys, ye voice familiar lagti hai na? In fact, ye voice.. Yuvraj ki voice jaisi hai" whispered Suvreen to the others
"Mujhe bhi yahi lagta hai" whispered back Mannu.
They all kept staring into the darkness, silently. Finally, they could make out someone coming from the shadows. Then, the serial lights lit up. And out came... YUVRAJ! He was not even out properly, when all the others ran and hugged him. They all started talking to him rapidly. But, he was hardly listning. He was busy looking at Suvreen, who was standing at a distance. Both of them share an eyelock (Yuvreen tune in bg). Annie and Naro notice this. They motion Mannu and Rathi to leave the two alone. They quitely walk upstairs and leave Yuvreen alone. Yuvraj and Suvreen walk toward each other.
"Kaisi ho Topper?" asked Yuvi
S: "Kahaan chale gaye the tum yuvraj?" (With tears in her eyes)
Yuvraj couldn't bear to see tears in her eyes. He cupped her face in his palms and wiped away her tears.
Yuvraj:"Mat ro, Topper. Aur.. Ab main aa gaya hoon. Aur tujhse promise karta hoon ki tumhe kabhi chod ke nahi jaaunga"
Suvreen hugs Yuvraj. Yuvraj hugs her back. (Bg tune again)
"Topper tune apna answer nahi bataya ab tak" said Yuvraj, still hugging her
Suvreen breaks the hug and says "I love you too, Yuvraj"
~End of flash back~
Suvreen smiles to herself. This was how her Cheetah had proposed to her. But why the hell didn'nt he stil come? It was more than half an hour now. She took out her phone and called him.
