no doubt karn underwent a lot of hardship in his early life. but he got to live with his family and watch his children grow. he lived the life of a king for the most part of his life. so for most part he lived a happy prosperous life.

Arjun spent more years in exile, living with hardships in the jungles, he suffered humiliation of being a slave, watched everything he worked so hard for lost in a game of dice by his brother. he didn't get to watch his children grow, or have any sort of normal family life. yet he did not lament his misfortune, he perfected his skill, he was the ambidextrous archer. he battled with gods and demons and he was best friends with a lord Krishna. Arjun is as fascinating as Karna if not more

Karna and Arjun both are equally fascinating characters of Mb...both were lucky to some extent...both were unlucky to some extent..it's people perception whom they choose...some ppl say that glass is half full of water some says it's half empty...ved vayas created both the characters to show some different agendas...becoz he can not show all the agendas through one single character...we should remember that Jaya is not a short story ...it's an epic...and a epic is considered as a epic when it deals different kinds of agendas within it...both the characters are equally important in the epic...some characters are little bit vast some are short but that means not that is not important...ppl should understand that when we cook we use a pinch of salt..but without this pinch of salt the cooking is incomplete...I just lough when ppl said that Karna is less important becoz of his short presence or becoz he was only be created to abuse drau or pandavas ... 😆 I just pity on those ppl ...becoz they are commenting on a great epic without reading it properly or without understanding it's depth. 🥱

Karn undoubtedly, he is way more fascinating than others !!!

Karna ofcourse. Because he had to work more harder to get that identity as he was a sut putra.

but why he deserved it?? i mean there were lots of ppl alive that time who were capable of defeating Arjun...wasn't it unfair to call him 'sarvashreshta dhanurdhar' when there was Bheeshma, Dronacharya and Karn who were better than him in fight?...even Eklavya for that matter...Karn was almost unbeatable with kawach on his body and dhanush in his hands

if it wasnt for Krishna and his planning plotting, no ways cud Pandavas have ever won the war

Exactly ,and not even once did karna defeat arjuna. Arjun worked hard and performed severe austerities to gain celestial weapons while in exile. And once when duryodhana was attacked by the gandharvas it was arjun who rescued him and not karna.
