Ok peepz I thought of creating this thread to summarize all the literary works on Karna I have read or found so far. Of course you can add Literary works of other characters of MB or the ones I have missed out 😊 🤓

Literary Works on Karna

MRITYUNJAYA - By Sivaji Sawant (The Death Conqueror in English) - Known to be one of the best works on the mythological character Karna about his life till death. Originally written in Marathi.

AND NOW LET ME SLEEP - By P. K. Balakrishnan (Ini Njan Urangatte - in Malayam) - Its the story of Karna seen through the eyes of Draupadi post war. The revised edition in English is titled as TO SLEEP

Add "karna kunti sanbad "...its a marvellous poem by Ravindra nath Tagore on karna...ist time I fall for karna after reading that poem in my secondary exam's syllabus.. 😊

the Aryavarta chronicles by Krishna Udayasankar. its is a 3 part recreation of the Mahabharata, where the characters are more human then gods or demigods, but this epic gives a whole new perspective to the Mahabharata. with some interesting surprises.

Yuganta by Irawati karve, it is more of a comprehensive study of the Mahabharata and its characters

saga of a pandava warrior prince arjuna- by anuja chandramouli it tells the story of Arjun, his strengths and weakness and flaws, relates his ambitions, his devotion to krishna, and his journey, from Guru Drona's gurukul to the kurukshetra fields, to his witnessing the post destruction of dwarka up to his final walk to heaven
