Who have been to an adventurous ourney in life

Hi All,

Hope u all are doing great by the grace of Almighty Allah! Well life itself is an adventure as you never what is next waiting for you or what is going to happen in coming moment? but besides this imaginable journey sometimes we on purpose or unintentionally land up in real adventures in any phase of our life time or some people are bound to do that. Like probably any one of us may be is a tourist by profession or might be found of climbing mountains or love to explore natural parks and jungles...It will be fun sharing this as this show itself is about adventures of life .. not only those which i have briefed above but also anything you would like to share related to your life which made u learn a lesson or teach you how to survive in difficult times!

Ok let me state mine very small experience here; i beside a housewife also help my father in his business ..which is about engineering base conferences, seminars and trainings and for this i at times travel when it is required.. once i had to go to Lahore from Karachi... i have been travelling via airways but always heard that interior cites towns and villages are beautiful .. and we can see them while travelling via National Highway .. this trip happened in June 2010 when Pakistan especially the interior areas and small towns and cites got effected from flood ... i was not married at that time so was not really bounded .. so i willingly despite of facing negative response forced my parents about the bus journey .. my father than went by domestic flight .. me my mother my uncle and cousin took road way ... the journey was of 24 hours we booked Daewoo bus service which is considered as safest and best .. but still i came across many things .. including hot weather was on top of list .. when we stopped at hyderabad terminal i wanted to use washroom and also wanted to get fresh but what i did not know was water was infected due to flood ...when i washed my faced i ended up with big water filled pimples on my face and neck ... i was wearing belly shoes .. when we reach sukkar and i got down from bus my shoes got trapped in wet mud .. and i was fixed in that ... it was horrible journey and i really after reaching lahore decided not to repeat that mistake again !

I have'nt been on one , gone on a few camps, but with all the equipments...

I want to hike the Half Dome in Yosemite , which is long pending will try to so it sometime in summer.

I am a runner. I love to run marathons, have done a few of them. Have done a couple of triathlons too. It's fun..atleast for me. The first one was the toughest but after that there was no looking back...

i have had few adventures by mishap...i remember one incident during childhood when we were to go visit a relative who lives on an island in orissa...it ws abt being stranded with my family on a boat in middle of extremely wide river in full moon night for hours, then the boatman on reaching the other bank dropped us off at an area which ws sooo muddy that i almost sinked till my knee when i first stepped out of the boat. there ws only moonlight, no electricity anywhere around, i guess the time ws around midnight, we walked for long (dont remember how long) and climbed up the main road which was at an elevation and we spotted a person riding a bicycle who guided us to the destination!!
