@kashishdabest: Thank you. I agree with what you have been stating as well.
Asha ji is one of my favorite singers and it pains me to see her being hurt on the show. Similarly, I know that mean comments about Abida ji would be very upsetting for her fans. I think we should show respect to these icons of our countries, they are at a phase in their lives where they have reached after struggling and surpassing odds. We should let them be. They judge things like 'sur' and 'tone' and 'feeling' in a very different way from most of us. if a bias does sweep into their judgement, it is because they are also human. I have written elsewhere that perhaps they are not the best judges but they are and will remain icons to their fans. And I respect them both. Even if I do not agree with things they say or do in this show.Lets just enjoy the singers and the experience. For me, I love the fact that we have this opportunity to meet and interact with our pakistani friends:)
Thanks a lot for understanding me..as some people seem to think i am being biased yet every comment of mine has been in favour of both teams..i have no hard feelings for nobody in that show..theres a reason behind everyones behaviour..and yes it is upsetting to see that certain people are being targetd..you are absolutely right..they all deserve request and i admit theres been bias from all sides but like you said they all have a different way of interpreting these things..they are respectable people and bad mouthing them only makes us look bad..definitely more than the judges we should enjoy the singing and the talent..im not from pakistan or india but i respect both countries and all people..yes if something has upset someone then you have a right to express an opinion but do it in a way that no one is offended..thanks for commentng here..i think we need more people like you here..and i have lots of respect for u too :)
