Samaira with Sayli. Clearly the first song (Parbat ke uss paar) has been given the TCT treatment. Most definitely she did not just sing 1 line in the recording. So we are off on the wrong foot! But Samaira did sing that one line well. Also the second song Naulakha mangwa de. There seems to be a huge difference in Samaira compared to when she started. She just needs some voice training now to get rid of the little nasality that is still left. I don't think, however, that this deserved the DHD they gave.

Faiz with Arunita. I think improvement in Faiz's duet performance too, but not yet at the level of his solo performances . But the first song ( Tumse badhkar duniya mein) was better than the second one (Dafli waale). He even missed a beat and skipped a line in the second one. I don't think he was really playing the dafli either. And he proved my point about his Solo performance in Shaayad. He hit the ball out of the park with that one. Perhaps it was TCT's way of pepping him up.

Rituraj. Man! That prank thing lasted too long this time! Hope this ends soon. His performance of De de pyaar de was good. I liked his voice modulations!

Rohan. Well, we already discussed about the focus being shifted away from his singing. Not fair to him. And the drama went on too long. At some point I just forwarded it. He is talented as a singer as evident today also. They just need to let him focus on that.

Sayisha with Pawan. We have a potential winner here. She hit the 120 m sixer today especially with her second song Pyaar ka Tohfa Tera. The first one Gori hain kalaiyaan was also good but the second was much better.

Mani with Salman. Once again starting with his back story. They really need to stop rubbing it in now. For his performance he was back to his genre. After last weekend I was hoping we will get to see more of thise different performances from him. Nevertheless, he did really well in that performance.

Chetanya with Danish. Evidently it is now routine to go out of theme if TCT can't find a song within the theme that suits your genre 🙄. So basically this was his genre and his comfort zone and he did well considering that. But I am not much of a fan of this. Another DHD that I just couldn't agree with.

Aruna. Another off theme performance with no explanation as to why. And another performance in the genre into which they have pigeonholed her. She did well but I do feel that for her and some others like Mani and Chetanya TCT should really give them the opportunity to showcase more of their talent.

So once again today many contestants didn't get a chance to perform - or it wasn't telecast - while some will get an opportunity on both days. I think I am going to copy this paragraph and save it so that I can save some effort every week!

Example of bad editing: an hour after Arunita and Faiz's performance of Tumse Badhkar Duniya Mein, they showed Javed Ali singing that song as if it is a brand new input in the episode! Obviously they shot that part earlier and Faiz's part later.

Arunita and Pawandeep - their performances continue to be, in my view, far ahead of the other 3 captains.

Also, I particularly like how every contestant who sings with them (their team or another team) seems to be consistently making eye contact with them throughout the song and looking for cues and encouragement. More so with PD, but for both of them more than the other 3.

I also liked PD's glance when he sang "dil ke sahaare maine paa liye, jeene ko aur kya chahiye" 🙂

Okayish episode. As I've said before, it's not fair for some kids to sing whatever they want while others have to adhere to the guest's songs only.

Samaira-Sayli - Good. Samaira tends to drag out the lines and make them slower than original. It only works sometimes. I didn't enjoy her voice that much today tbh.

Faiz-Arunita - The first song turned out to be much better, since Faiz at least got to sing Still felt he was treated as a background singer. Arunita nailed it of course, but couldn't enjoy it much because I wanted to hear more from Faiz. The editing in Dafliwale was poorly done. They also didn't include the solo portion of Faiz that was shown in the promo.

Faiz needs to improve his line delivery coz I feel like his voice trembles a lot. Anyways, he redeemed it with the Shayad that followed, but one cannot hope to win a show with just 2-3 good performances. One more thing - I don't like the editing they do with his voice in post-production. His voice sounds amazing on its own, but they ruin it with unnecessary reverb and mixing.

Rituraj - I just skip through the pranks. Waise bhi crew me koi aur member nahi hai kya, who has to bear the brunt of those jokes? 🤪 He sang well, but imo his voice sounds too girlish, so it didn't suit the song.

Rohan - I hope he is enjoying the process of roleplaying or else all this is just too much. As I have always mentioned - I love his voice. My thoughts were exactly what HR said. So much body movement and acting, but he maintains the same energy and his voice never goes out of tune! I actually enjoyed his performance the most today.

Sayisha-Pawan - Her voice is so good for a seven year old. Like @PV said above, Sayisha has good chances of winning. I thought she was a bit wobbly in the first song, but Tohfa was great. Also, Pawandeep seemed to pull back a lot today. I feel like he's barely putting any effort to sing.

Mani-Salman - Anybody notice how only Mani gets a special intro from Aditya? 🤪 He's too sweet a child, but we don't need these constant reminders of his background. Anyways, a song in his league. He did well. I enjoyed the performance even though I feel his voice is quite ordinary. Also, Mani needs to work on his breath control - he looses his breath very quickly. I have also observed the same with Chetanya/Aryananda as well. Faiz/Soyeb/Sayisha has really good breath control imo.

Chetanya-Danish - Can't understand why I'm not a fan of Chetanya, because he does well. Today was a pretty good performance. I like his voice much better than Danish. But it'd be nice if they move away from Sukhwinder types and explore more.

Aruna - Idk, I didn't enjoy it much 🤡 Funny because I like heavy female voices much more than the high-pitched ones. She did fine on her own, but I couldn't connect to the performance.

Once again - who decides which all captains perform twice and which kids perform once? And why not mix up the duet partners? Arunita should take a chance with Rohan as well. Or even Rohan-Faiz and see how that sounds. Salman behaves as if Mani is the only kid in his team. Anyways, from the looks of it - I think they have finally decided to give Team of the Week to Arunita's. Just my hunch. Also I'm really starting to get worried about Soyeb because he would be an undeserving candidate for elimination

Sorry I couldn't get into the episode. Seemed thanda. No dhamakedar performances.

Enjoyed Rohan. How he manages singing with body movements and acting? If one take all this into account, then which other contestant is capable of doing all this? Still feel TCT should consider that he has come into the show as a singer, not entertainer.

Getting fed up with Rituraj's pranks. Sending HR to buy dhaniya, then they should have draped dhaniya over him instead of some strange plant leaves. 😆

Makers please less of Mani's background, Soyab and Rituraj's drama and Rohan's entertainment . Just let all of them sing. Also less of over excited Sayli. We all know she is a singer on stage so knows songs, but why so much lip syncing when contestants are singing and camera goes on her. Feel like as if she is being promoted here just like II12.

Assuming there will be no elimination tomorrow as it's Maa Special episode???

I would also say, that the episode was 'not up to the mark'.

Only Pawan-sayisha and Arunita-Faiz kept me watching the show. Rest of them were 'so so', IMHO.

Hope that tomorrow's episode might be better.

As pointed out by many , it was just a very mediocre episode.

Samaira - Sayli :- samaira continues to show improvement. Good performance, Wondered on the DHD,though

Faiz - Aru :- He rendered the first song well. Daffliwale was a wrong choice. He hardly got a couple of lines to sing. Aru of course owned the song. TCT tried to throw brownie points to him with a scripted request of Shayad which he aced.

Rituraj :- He delivered, but wrong choice of song - didn’t suit his voice.

Rohan :- This boy has such untapped talent. The energy & feel he infuses into kishore da’s songs with the playacting is so commendable. If only he is honed more as a singer!

Sayisha - Pawan :- The best. This girl might well walk off with the trophy. It’s a delight to see them together too - the way she keeps looking at him for approval/ hint and the way PD guides subtly 👍. 💕. Her hand gestures are also like Pawan’s. She has clearly imbibed a lot from him. 👍

Mani -salman :- Good, as expected, since Mani was back into his comfort zone.

Chaitanya- Danish :- Not a fan of this duo. Tried to, but still couldn’t enjoy.
Aruna :- Found it just okayish.
Both the above numbers on its own has the foot-tapping pull; which gets accentuated by Girish sir’s amazing band. Hence the singers have to be exceptionally good to rise to that.

Overall a ‘meh’ episode.

Can’t the TCT get better writers who can think of better lines than ‘destiny Vs Mani’… so, if mani gets eliminated, Destiny starts scoring, is it? 😳

JP’s supposedly impromptu dance became 3 instead of the expected Daffliwale 😳…Another child could’ve performed in that time.

Rituraj -HR drama was never funny or even mildly amusing to begin with, but now it has become downright irritating. And yes, even I thought the boy will be covered with Dhaniya… 😳

No DHD for Sayisha-pawan?? … but Danish-Chaitanya get it??😳

javed Ali’s Tumse bhadkar … Editor ka loo break?? 😳

Yes - Soyeb doesn’t deserve to get eliminated, at least not this early. There are others who need to go.
