Supernatural keeps getting better and better. The new episode "Remember the Titans" definitely kicked it up a notch or two. Very interesting concept. I've always been intrigued by Greek mythology. This was a nice way to bring in Zeus, Artemis, and Prometheus. Unique concept - unlike anything we've seen on Supernatural yet, and we've seen a lot!
Not a big fan of the whole zombies concept so I'm glad not another episode on that. š The sheriff saying "And boys, aim for the head," totally cracked me up and the boys expressions were hilarious. I was like yeah you're telling the experts š
Dean was as cute as always š "I feel like I'm sitting shiva."
"Well, that's not... nevermind."š And there goes our nerdy Sam.
But what REALLY cracked me up was this:
Sam: "What do we know of that has... Jason Bourne fighting skills, dies a lot, and has a history with violent women."
Dean: "I don't know.. You!" š¤£š¤£š¤£ Nice one, writers!!
Dean's expression was so cute when he said, "We're legacies...no big deal." Sam was like, really, Dean? š Also the whole fulgurite thing, poor Dean's plan of impressing Haley pretty much backfired š
Sam once again proved to be a genius with the way he handled Artemis... good intuition and good on-the-spot thinking. I know I should've been terrified when Artemis had put them against the wall but I was laughing. Dean's expressions were hilarious.. "Good, Sammy, doing great."
I'm really liking the boys' conversations at the end of the last few episodes. This was no different.
"You promised to live a long Clark Griswold life full of prostrate exams and colonoscopies.. alright? You're not welching on that deal. Not on my watch. If you die, it's gonna be because of something normal."
"Like heart attack?"
"Exactly!"
"Not on my watch." Doesn't that remind you of the old days when Dean used to say that all the time after John had told him that he has to save Sam or end him? I loved hearing that from Dean. He is the protective older brother, after all :) Love these brothers to death. And I was touched in the very end when Dean called out to Cas for Sam. "So for all that we've been through, I'm asking you, you keep looking out for my little brother, okay."
And Dean knows that Sam's hiding that he's hurting...awww... At least this won't be another thing that causes misunderstandings between them.
These brothers are like the pillars of strength for each other. When one is in self-doubt, the other makes sure to boast his confidence.
I love that in the end, everything's about family... even Prometheus died for his son so he wouldn't have to suffer from the same fate. Overall, an excellent episode! Can't wait to see the next one which will be in 3 weeks!!! šš
