TV Guide.com:Don't you see enough of Jensen on set?

Jared:Not at all. We're really good buddies and that's been probably the best thing about Supernatural. In the last three years of my life, I've spent more time with Jensen Ackles than with any other human being and vice versa. Luckily, we get along really well and we are very similar guys. We're both from Texas, we both love our families, the same kind of music, and the Dallas Cowboys. It's been a huge blessing to work with somebody who is easygoing on set and who I'm friends with.

Jaredsaid of course and that he had just talked to Jensen for an hour on the phone the day before and that they were always texting each other.
about his favorite present from Jensen
Jared:when time's are tough or at the end of a hard day or something, he's like "let me buy you dinner", 'cause food is the way to my heart. To hell with his friendship, if he buys me a steak or two, I'm happy!

On getting ready in the morning
Jared:Oh, really, oh, is that what he was saying, that I take a long time getting ready. Uh, that's because in the morning, I wake up, and I work out, and I, I, uh, lift weights in my gym, and then I run, I'll run my dogs, or I'll run on my treadmill or something. And he basically rolls his little pretty ass out of bed and gets in the shower and primps, and he's ready to go. He's in his mirror about forty minutes before pickup time, making sure he looks good, while I'm pounding the pavement, trying to work out. "Take a long time getting ready," I'm gonna whup his ass.

When told Jensen wants to know why he sweats so much
Jared:Why I sweat so much? Um, knowing that he's always--his eyes are always on me. Desperately wanting, you ever heard that Better Than Ezra song, Desperately Wanting? He--that crush on me, it makes me kind of awkward. He's always crying, and so I always feel like I should help him out, and I get nervous, you know, 'cause I'm like, I wanna do something for him, but I don't wanna give him the wrong idea, and just that sort of crazy thought process in my head makes me sweat

Q:You and Jensen are really close so is it that much harder to do those scenes where basically you have to watch Dean get torn apart and whatnot?
Jared:Yeah, we did that yesterday. He sort of talks about his time in Hell and he knocked it out of the park. He did an amazing job, he's a fantastic actor and always impresses me. Just watching him do it - it was his coverage I didn't even have a camera on me - I was just watching him and I started to like, tears were rolling down my cheek and I was going, [fake sniffles and eye wiping] Uh...it's dusty...something flew in my eye.

Jensen:Yes, together, but with the purest of intentions , even if he's constantly harassing me for sexual favors(laughs)

Jared:We live together in Vancouver. We live in a house. We're just actually good buddies. It's not like, "Hey, you play brothers on screen. As soon as they call Cut,' you're, like, fighting each other." It's like, he's a Texas boy, and our girlfriends get along famously. Like, "Fine, go enjoy. We're going to be watching the Super Bowl and grilling steaks; you go talk about girl stuff." It's fun. It's like having a brother, it really is. So I'm really excited for him when stuff happens; he's really excited for me, and ultimately, the better each of us does, really the better it helps both of us. The better his movie does, the more it helps me. The better my movie does, the more it helps him. And so it's really nice to have a buddy who's really after you to do your best.

Who takes longer to get ready in the morning? Jared, of course, was the undisputed answer and Jensenjoked that he was going to write a book called Waiting for Jared. When prompted Jensen agrees that Jared is the girl in their relationship. This joke resurfaced later when Jared was trying to get shuffled off the stage for Jensen's alone time and he sort of refused to go, dancing on stage and doing a fake strip tease and generally just annoying the crap out of Jensen.

During the interview, when asked about he and Jared both having movies out, Jensen actually scrolls though his phone to find a message Jared sent him on the night of the MBV premiere which he reads out to the journalist
"Hey dude, thinking about you. Hope it's going well. Kick ass. Enjoy."

Some woman and her kid went to stand between the two boys and the little girl took one look at them and ran to hide behind the table that all the photo-printing equipment was on.
Jensen:now you've frightened her
to Jared, who then proceeded to do that really big laugh where he rocks back in his chair and claps his hands a lot. Then Jared gets up to try and comfort the girl but she ducks under the table. So of course Jared then has to duck under the table and just as he goes down, the little girl pops up the other side. By this point Jensen is killing himself laughing and saying to the bit of Jared sticking out
"now you made her cry".
Jensen then decides to jump up to the camera and start taking pictures of Jared and the hapless photographer who is trying to untangle the kid from the wires. The girl finally decides to completely run out of the room and Jared sits back down and says to Jensen :
"she probably saw My Bloody Valentine".
