Veeresh decides to meet Rukmani but his plans are thwarted /opposed when the MD Shah humiliates him. Shah meets Rukmani himself and tells her that Veeresh had come while Sujata was hiding in the same room. In the meanwhile, Veeresh goes to work and speaks to Menka about his confrontation with the MD and expresses his anxiety over the same. Menka gets physically close to him in the pretext of consoling him. Without Veeresh's knowledge, she manages to add something to his glass of water.
