No Longer About Nature v Nurture

I made a post a while ago about how the current SSEL track is an interesting twist on the age old concept of nature v nurture.

However, I think I've changed my mind about that.

This is because I feel like now, after seeing the development in the characters of Yuvaani, Yuvaan, Saiyyam, and Krishna, I feel like the show is saying: it doesn't matter about your blood or lineage, nor does your upbringing matter- you are what you are and eventually all people come back to who they really regardless of birth or upbringing.

Insaan ka pehdaish ya parvarish koi maineh nahi rakhta, insaan akhir tak apni asliat par ahi jata hai.

Yuvaan was born to Yuvraj and Suhani, brought up by Suhani with her values, but look at the way he is behaving- if we didn't know any better he would be more suited to being Ragini or Meneka's son.

Krishna was born to Soumya, but brought up by Suhani- despite having Souyma as a mother, Krishna is still so selfless.

Yuvaani was born to Suhani and Yuvraj, but brought up by Ragini and Dadi- she can be ill behaved sometimes but sometimes also shows love and care.

Saiyyam was born to Suhaani, and brought up by God knows who- yet despite having this justified hatred in him, he still loves his mother, he doesn't necessarily want to cause harm or pain to anyone, he's struggling with a lot of emotional and mental baggage.

All of these children prove one thing- it doesn't matter who's blood you have in your veins or who brought you up, a person creates their own personality and whatever that true personality is, it eventually comes out no matter how much they try to hide it.
