I started this with the idea of encapsulating the essence of the SSEL story, without all the BS the cvs have loaded it with, for a friend's birthday. It turned out so long, I've divided it into 3 parts, but consolidated, i.e., it is still 1 vm.This is the story that brought me to the show and to the forum. I don't want to watch the show that it is at present, but my attachment to the original show and the original characters is very much there. I only pray that the falling trps bring some sense to the cvs.

Thanks and apologies to du, who has put up with endless drafts of the various parts and the whole for some 2-3 weeks. Your feedback is always invaluable, even when I want to kill you for it.

The vm is a mix of instrumental and vocal, with more instrumental because of the way it's structured. I hope you all enjoy it.

Thank you, Navi. Maine toh kitne early episodes dekhe bhi nahi thhe"I was sitting with hotstar open in one tab and written updates in another, trying to find scenes to fit. Jitne download kiye, uske aadhe bhi use nahi kiye, but I enjoyed watching the old scenes. Woh mazaa hi alag tha.

And I loved it. Completely. Some parts had me drooling like anything! With the choice of scenes and the style of narrative - you've managed to convey what you wanted toand for such a long one, with so much tell, it's a feat to keep yourself on track 👏 Which our creatives fail to do time and again.

Ah, dudette, if you like it, it's the biggest compliment. You should've been sick of this by now. But what to do, your aesthetics match mine, and I knew you were the best audience, even without your brilliance in vm-making. I know, the beparwah mann is my fav bit too, he's too adorable in that part. When I started this, this was one of the sections I had very clear in my mind.

Thanks, sri. Tell me, when the serial didn't show explicitly how he fell for her, how could I? And I actually like the subtle change. I thought of going 2 ways: one was to show the Saumya crush and snaky stuff and Revelation on dadi's birthday, or to strip the story of all that and just focus on them. Leaving out Saumya meant also leaving out Rohan, so no divorce, no Rohan-Su marriage, no Confession. If this was so long, imagine if I put in Saumya, snaky, snaky redemption, Rohan...too much. So my version just talks of 2 people who were allegedly mismatched and how love happened anyway.
