Star Plus' Suhani Si Ek Ladki (Panorama Entertainment) will see a replacement of the character of Saurabh.

Well, Saurabh was earlier played by actor Vijay Tilani. And now, stepping into his shoes will be Nikhil Sharma, who is also seen in &TV's Badii Devrani.

A reliable source states, "Vijay opted out of the show for some personal reason. Nikhil has been now roped in to play the character Yuvraj's (Sahil Mehta) brother."

We hear that Nikhil has already started shooting.

However, we could not get through to Nikhil for a confirmation.

We wish great luck to the boy for his new show.

Vijay's shoes are too big to fill. That man's screen presence is something else... These dolts lost such a good actor due to poor story-telling.

I completely agree. I honestly don't think the producers/writers truly appreciated him. He's a fantastic actor and had great comedic timing. I really hope he finds success as an actor/director. He has a great screen presence, as you said, and he was the handsomest of the Birla boys. He looked like a film hero!

Thanks, Rohini! 😃

Can anybody share a photo of this new Saurabh a.k.a. Nikhil Sharma?

I mean, like a good, clear one...a professional shot. Not a screen cap from the OLV.

I can't manage to get a good look at him from that video...the image quality is poor and the video is quite hazy in general. He SEEMS to look younger than Vijay in it...but I'm not sure...I want to see his face properly, so that I can make a sound judgement. 😉

And I Google searched his name...but he doesn't seem to have any info online...no profiles, no biographies, he's not in any news articles, thus no photos. I guess he didn't get any notable roles before SSEL.

This made me laugh for some reason.

He has big shoes to fill, poor guy.

Oh--thanks again, Rohini. You are replacing Meena.

My God, this is too much--I just said that (big shoes) in reply to Sandi.
