And to everyone who resents criticism of their idols, let me paraphrase again what Sandi said once--we have loved this serial at one time, we have praised whatever we found praiseworthy--and still do--we have identified with the characters, and if we are disappointed by those characters, sometimes one, sometimes another, sometimes multiple--we have put in the time that gives us that right. I can object to certain things you say, but know you have the right to say them nonetheless.

In the real world she probably would be better off with Rohan (and he's not dopey, dunce). Right now I'm neither impressed with nor affectionate towards Suhani, who is behaving like a brainless regressive idiot. I know that the defence is supposed to be that she's so broken and lifeless she is going along with everything, but this was, as you say, NOT the Suhani we signed up for. It's the requirement of the storyline that she agreed to marry Rohan, but that gave lie to her supposed spunk, smarts, and great love for Yuvraj immediately (or what was left of the lie). We (by which I mean myself and those who see all the flaws) accept, for want of a better word--maybe 'get resigned to' is better--all the crap with the faint hope and the fainter memory of our early attraction and our innocent expectations.

I won't diss Su much more beyond agreeing, yes, she isn't looking or acting her age, and snaky is stealing it from her. Honestly, if it weren't an SP serial, why would Yuvraj prefer Su to snaky when snaky is more ex-Su-like than Su and looks loads better? Yeah, as du pointed out, he's a faithful guy, morally upright, so we must presume that prolly he's also acting on memories of the Su who was. The one they killed and left in place this travesty.

It's a sad truth that I got tired of repeating all my complaints against ssel, and when I watch, I do it blocking out what annoys me. I remember saying once that our demands were getting smaller and smaller--we weren't getting what we wanted we knew, so we hoped that some little things would redeem our investment, but that happened so rarely, that now it's a day-to-day or week-to-week inspection of what's not completely puerile. Even after Sahil doing a great job yesterday, I have this cynical outlook on what's coming.

But with so many viewers happy, obviously the problem lies with those who don't appreciate this touching love story.

btw this su-lady has the same look n feel of prat-ma n lata-ji. in fact she looks like she is more severe case of "lata-ji syndrome" if anything if we go by mahanta-facial expressions

Well I did not exactly like the feeling of random muck thrown at me, when I chose to give my prime time to watch a serial with zero content. 🤢 (after CVs set the expectations misleadingly differently, initially)

I don't want to give excuses for all the shoddiness and non-story and somehow like it too.

A little unbelievable even for the sub zero standards set by tv-serial world

atleast one half episode gave me a great deal of satisfaction...whatever you show later, I want to think of this SSEL to have ended with that FABULOUS half episode.

Firstly I dnt think u needed to write u dnt like and dnt feel suhani is beautiful coz of her skin color. We all know u not libs. U put this same thought of yours in the post that I made about Rajshri and I didn't like it. I am normally fine with dissing and would normally reply to something I dnt like but I would have preferred it that if any1(not only including u coz I was dreading libs seeing the post and saying something) wanted to vomit hate on her they made your own post and do it. Coz I had not only included suhani in that post I had included rajshri there as well. And I had not wanted that post to be mean, degrading or have a mocking tone to it. Because no1 should be made to feel that their looks or their body is disgusting and dirty. Whatever size we are we should be comfortable in it and ourselves. Coz really if we not comfortable with ourselves no matter how thin we get or how pretty we look we would still not be happy with what we see in the mirror. There is a saying that beauty is in the eye of the beholder what u find beautiful I will not and what I find beautiful u may not find beautiful. We all have different thoughts, views and perception of life and in people. Why is it being made to seem as if that if some1 is fat, looks abit unhealthy and does not dress up to look good to the outside world that they not deserving of love. Am I supposed to believe that no1 has seen a guy who it hot with a not so hot girl and a hot girl with a not so hot guy? I am sorry bt I see this quite often hot guy not so pretty girl and vice versa. Its rare to find 2 goodlooking ppl together almost always 1 of them is better looking then the other even if they are actually a good looking couple. But really again going to say beauty is in the eye of the beholder when I started watched this show I thought that Yuvraj was so plain looking and ugly I did not understand hw that plain jane was on tv and worse he looked like Ranbir who was the ultimate plain jane urrg. Bt my mom said look at the guy properly he is goodlooking. Just imagine I am watching for over a month and had to be told by my mom that the guy was good looking. So dnt take something as a given. Some people find aishwariya rai plain looking and she is considered to be 1 of the worlds most beautiful woman. But really even I was enjoying the episode. Coz when I was watching when yu bhaiya was saying bye I was thinking this is my scene coz he is existing the show lol. And then the orange juice scene that was even better it would be nice to see him choke on that darn orange juice.

but the fact that any1 has this view from 1 year of the show where the show is supposed to be that beauty is about your inner qualities and your personality then it shows that this show has not done their job or showed that personality is a winner. btw even though snaky is nice but sorry she looks old with straight hair and like an aunty as well. I only like her with curly hair she looks young. and really even have big hair rohan to be looks better than Yuvraj to me
