So, I'm going to start off by saying that this (september 7th) was one of my favorite episodes to date.
One of the best parts of the episode was actually the dream sequence strangely enough. Now, normally I HATE dream sequences. They're manipulative, misleading, and completely useless, time-wasting pieces of serial sh*t most of the time.

This one, however, was a VERY nice surprise.

We got to travel inside Yuvraj's head for a moment and witness his biggest fear come to life before him. His fear of course was that Suhani would be married off to Rohan with Yuvraj being unable to do anything about it.

But that wasn't the best part! Do you guys remember what Dream Suhani said? She paused, bit her lip, and said "hum aur Rohan hamesha ki liye ek hogai." WOW. That is a big reveal.

Based on the facial expressions and the way she said her dialogues, this could only mean one thing to me - Dream Suhani and Dream Rohan spent their first night together soon after the wedding. The fact that this piece is included as part of Yuvraj's nightmare reveals that one of his fears is that Suhani will become someone else's, not only legally but also emotionally and *physically*.

In my opinion, this little dream sequence is tantamount in revelatory value to the drunk scene. Both these scenes are similar because we get a glimpse into Yuvraj's subconscious. In a show like this where CVs are often forced to rush certain things and drag others, I think these scenes are super important pieces of characterization for the characters.

So true Ikea! They purposefully inserted the pause before she said "hum ek ho gaye"... this not only means what you implied but it shows that things have gone completely out his hand! He completely failed to "save" Suhani which was purpose all along! That was quite a well played out scene... His heart sank at that - figuratively and literally!
Edit add: Acting was bang on today! Hope they keep it up and continue writing good scenes like this!

Absolutely. The CVs have shown through this scene and multiple others (one of which was the scene where Yuvraj reveals to Suhani how he felt about his father) that they are capable of writing three-dimensional characters and thought-provoking dialogue.

It's sad because I feel like maybe they're restricted by the serial format. It forces them to drag things on when they could more meaningfully conclude things in maybe 30 well-written, hour-long episodes (kind of like Pakistani dramas).

Yeah, she paused, lowered her eyes, and kind of chewed her lip--loaded with significance. And it really set him off, breathing ragged, monitor bleeping. No wonder he was pleased to see her in the same old costume when she came to meet him. So he's not a total bal brahmachari. He actually has corporeal thoughts.
