Yes, Apu, your review definitely supercedes the actual episode, which was nice enough, because phateechars just looked like asses with their needless fingering, BQ got a shock AND got played. Trust menka to come up with some crapola idea. As I wasn't riled up today, I enjoyed Saurabh and Anuj (or maybe I would've enjoyed them yesterday if I'd watched Friday's ep) and I can see why Ada, Neha, and Sandi are fida--Saurabh is cute and there's something reassuring about him. Loved snaky getting 'talked at' out of the kitchen (our su's domain, idiot girl) and her literally flouncing off. Loved that the guys make it clear whom they support. Liked Su smiling after a long time, or so it seems.
Is it just me? I feel yuvraj is somehow least convincing when he talks about su's innocence, truthfulness, and sundry virtues, to Sharad. I felt the same way when he told Sharad few days back that suhani is innocent and he'll protect her or whatever. I don't mean Yuvraj is lying--it's obvious that this is true. But there's something there--whether direction, Sahil's acting, I don't know, but it's like you're watching a play. Don't know if I'm being clear at all.
But I liked Yuvi-Sharad's convo, and relieved Suhani eavesdropped . And hello, Su darling, it's not that you've NEVER lied. Maybe white lies, but oh yes. Also glad that while she knows, she's not immediately doing a yuvraj-my-hero. We need her to stay in distant mode. Loved your comments about Lata. So much for Suhani's upbringing when momma thinks blackmail is fine if it nets you one number good son-in-law.
I have no patience with Pratima's bhook hartal. Loved the bit about her degree in emotional blackmail. Really, if the mother acts like a 5-yr-old who holds his breath to get his way, we must cut these boys some slack if they're the way they are. What bothers me is this kind of thing is meant to IMPRESS us with how much Pratima loves Suhani and how she's Standing Up for her. Sorry, it underlines her (also) as childish and unable to confront issues in an adult manner.
Laughed my guts out at dadi going off to terrorize Pratima. That scene was funny--yuvi's face! What has this woman done to deserve this kind of fear and submissiveness? Su to the rescue reminded me of Hermione and Ron. I felt a little flicker of affection for yuvi again when he spoke that loaded statement: "I'm not alone now".
Su leaving BH gone down the drain for sure. Su career also gone the same way, I think. If we're lucky, we'll get some entertainment from su's lot all working against the phateechars. If we're lucky, we'll see them vanquished in the face-off(s). If we're lucky, all this will not stretch long enough to start hair-pulling again. If the cvs can manage it, we've get yuvi slowly getting drawn to su, and making efforts to win her back, but I doubt this. They'll probably mangle it.

all in all I liked the episode, the best part being Sanuj scene supporting Suhani. The way Anuj said I want a dvd of movie kamini devrani for my wife, I felt like giving him a hug. 😃 Ragini is such a cruel witch, karma is definitely going to f*** her up. The kitchen scene was one good light scene. Suhani having all her brothers-in-law by her side that made Snaky leave kitchen and remind her place in BH.
the disappointing thing for me was Suhani finding out about Yuvraj's so called plan n precap. Now I'm wondering if there is really a plan. I was hoping that only after Yuvraj's master plan, Suhani will find out the truth and hence some redemption for Yuvraj but...whatever...

That definitely means that she's not into planning conspiracies and all...then what is she waiting for? Eid? Diwali or X-mas to leave BH? :P

As for Pratima, her approach annoys the hell out of me. That's why I said what I did. Also, the fact that we're supposed to sympathise with her, just because it's in Suhani's behest is absurd. 🥱🥱 CVs, we aren't as regressive as you. Something about a mother blackmailing her son with suicide just turns me off. Big no no. I said this on your post too- this is where the Birla Bros have inherited their avoidance from. 😆

@bold- I have decided to not comment too much on him till we get to know his 'plan', but I never find his so-called concern for her convincing. It's a case of, 'too little, too late'. I think Saurabh is more assertive in expressing affection for Suhani. Wish Yuvi imitated his elder bro more.

I think today's episode was meant to be the FAQs section answered by the CVs (shout out to Dunce). 😉 From start to finish, it was a plot device meant to explain our many doubts about Yuvi's master plan.

Suhani finds out about Yuvraj's plan: The episode starts off with Yuvraj berating Sharad for trying to tell Suhani the truth. 😲 Yuvraj reveals that he has lied to Dadi about marrying Somu and the whole thing is actually part of a big plot. So, he definitely has something planned, because he said that he knows about both Somu and Dadi. Sharad says that it's better to tell Suhani Bhabhi everything but Yuvraj responds that to deal with crooked people, you have to become a crook. Haila. 😆 He says Suhani is too honest for all this. CVs, you are really building it up, so don't forget to back it up, okay? Just a friendly reminder. 😉 Ever heard of that platitude- Making a mountain out of a molehill? Yeah, please don't' do that. 😳 The camera pans to the door and lo and behold! 😲 it's our Suhani Devi eavesdropping on ShaRaj. Must say, our Suhani has finally learned to sneak around! 👏👏 All this drama led to Suhani gaining this all-important skill which means survival in Telly World.

She quickly hurries back to YuvAni's room when she is about to be found out and then we have our FAQs session, where Suhani herself asks the CVs everything we were wondering about. 😆 Finally, the spotlight was on her and her problems. Suhani wonders what to believe- that Yuvi wants to marry Soumya or that everything was a charade invented to protect her. 😲 She is agitated and frustrated, as she tries to work through the web of lies and deceit around her. 😭 Crying, she also talks to a family photo of the Srivastavas and asks why her life has become a lie. She is confused about what Yuvraj said and says that her heart tells her to trust the Yuvraj who has always stood by her (Suhani is watching a different SSEL, lol😛). Of course, who else but Lata, supermom to Super Suhani calls at that crucial juncture. Lata's appearances are always 10% sense and 90% nonsense. 🤣 She tells Suhani her anger at Pankaj is justified, but if blackmailing would lead to a parent gaining an son-in-law like Yuvraj, then every parent would do it. 😳🤪


Birla House breaks up into two factions: I was actually surprised by the amount of COMMUNICATION that was happening, never before seen on SSEL. 😆😆 Lata& Suhani's conversation ends with Lata telling her about Yuvraj saying Suhani needs him.
Meanwhile, the Phateechars have come up with YET another useless plot to undermine Suhani and her feelings. Menka has ordered Amitabh Bachchan movies that she thinks match Suhani's life circumstances. 🥱 DaRag watch in spite as Menka shows Suhani titles like, Sautan, Chotti si bhool, Sajan gaye Sasural to torment her. Menka was mean, but hilarious, as usual. Rags was only mean. 😉 As RagMen continue their torture and Suhani is about to walk away, a male hand stops her. It turns out to be none other than Saurabh. 😲 SaNuj return RagMen's firepower with some artillery of their own. Anuj recommends Kameeni Devrani, while Saurabh recommends Biwi No.1. 😲 Well, we all know what happened in Biwi No.1. Rags, watch out. SaNuj support Suhani and we see RagMen facing off against their husbands. Okay, now we all know why Yuvi is Dadi's fave, lol. 😆


Dadi almost finds out the truth: Yuvraj goes to Pratima's room to reveal the truth to her, as she has gone on a hunger strike to protest his decision. Pratima tells Yuvraj that she will die before seeing Yuvraj marry Soumya. 😈 You see guys, Pratima has a degree in emotional blackmail. 😆 Yuvraj is disconcerted when he hears that and says that he wants to tell her the truth. Menka instigates Dadi to irritate Pratima and Dadi marches off to terrorize--I mean, talk to Pratima. 😳😛 Yuvraj tells Pratima it was all a naatak- a charade. Just as he says this, Super Dadi materialises at the door and Yuvraj's face crumples into horror. TBH guys, for some reason,this scene was comical to me. 😆 Yuvraj was trying to hide from Dadi like she was Frankenstein. 🤡 When Dadi questions him about what he just said, our celebrated Super Suhani arrives to dig him out of the grave he has dug himself into. CVs, really. The plan is Yuvraj's, but you AGAIN have Suhani torpedo his chance to shine and jump in. 😆😆 Very cruel, CVs.😛 Suhani says that, Yes, Yuvraj's marriage with her was all a charade. She accuses him of lying to her Yuvraj, who looks flummoxed 😆. He finally clues in to Suhani's 'natak' and agrees with her. Dadi watches as Suhani manages to save Yuvraj's plan. Yuvraj joins and and they manage to vanquish Dadi's suspicion.
