Today's episode seemed to be setting the stage for a dramatic Face of the Year conference. There was confusion and plotting all round as the plot became thicker and more murky.
Suhani cries her heart out and Dadi pounces on Yuvraj: The episode started with Suhani sobbing into Lata's shoulder as Bhavna asked her what was wrong. š Of course, Suhani doesn't want to 'trouble' her family so she lies and says she just got teary remembering the old days. Bhavna doesn't believe her and asks her again, but Suhani manages to convince them, saying, "One's first home can't be replaced". I felt so sorry for her. š There is a point where Bhavna asks her whether Yuvraj loves her, and Suhani says that he takes very good care of her. Bhavna says it's good that he takes care of her, but does he love her? I think this was a defining moment for Suhani, where she could have lied, but it seems the lie isn't even enough to convince her. She turns to Lata and brushes the question away. This was a very telling moment- Suhani's doubts have progressed to the point where she herself doesn't believe that Yuvraj loves her, anymore. š² Meanwhile, as I predicted Dadi figures out a way to delay Yuvraj from picking Suhani up. She calls Yuvraj to talk about Face of the Year prep. š¤¢š¤¢ She is going on about some hotel while RagMen add to her superfluous talk to keep Yuvraj engaged. š” Man, what the hell? Yuvraj is listening to her but is getting flustered because 'Maa' told him to pick Suhani up. DumbRaj, show some initiative for your wife. He finally manages to get rid of the snake pit's stranglehold and slinks away to pick Suhani up.
Over at her house, Suhani is getting restless and tells Lata that she will go on her own, using her scooty. š² Lata agrees and Suhani sets off on her scooty, remembering SoSu moments along the way.
Krishna stirs the pot and tells Suhani the truth: It turns out that Sharad went to meet Krishna and asks him why he has given up on Soumya and also calls him greedy. š² Krishna, as usual, heats up like a pressure cooker and nothing beneficial comes out of the talks. Due to Sharad's interference, Krishna decides to go to BH and meet Soumya. He texts her to come and meet him outside, and I was quite shocked that Somu didn't immediately tell the rest of the Phateechars. š² She goes to meet Krishna and they have a big blow-up where Krishna asks her why she has made Suhani's house her house. š Somu says that he has already destroyed her life and she wants nothing to do with him. Unfortunately, the truth about the 10 lakhs doesn't come out. Somu asks him to get out and tells him she doesn't want to see his face. He ends with a zinger saying, a lying and cheating person like her can never be truly happy. Krishna walks away, muttering that he came to talk to her, but she is acting like a Maharani. š I have to say, Ankur makes frustrated Krishna very funny to watch. šYuvraj arrives at the spot, and when he sees Soumya crying asks her what's wrong. š¤¢ JerkRaj, why have you picked up your wife's Somu Jaap?
As Krishna is walking away, Suhani arrives at BH in her little yellow scooty. As soon as she sees Krishna, Suhani gets into 'Fight Club' mode. šš I never see Suhani truly lose control with her loved ones, but it seems like she lets loose at someone who she thinks nothing of. Krishna tells her that Soumya, the girl whose life Suhani is trying to save and reform, is trying to destroy her. š² Suhani tells him that Soumya is her friend and she doesn't need to ask HIM about her. Krishna says to Suhani that she should open her eyes, now that he is telling her the truth and see that Soumya is not her best friend anymore. I knew this would happen, but as expected, Suhani pulls her arm back and lands one of her famous slaps on Krishna's face. š² Not cool, Suhani, not cool. š„± Krishna is shocked and he tells her to look around and face reality.
Yuvraj consoles Soumya and SoRag trick Suhani: At this point, I have to say that the scene which came after that made my blood boil..š”š”JerkRaj is sitting with Somu in the garden and is consoling her and telling her to be happy for the Face of the Year event tomorrow. God! Are you stupid, Yuvraj? Did you forget that you had to pick up your wife? š Suhani sees them and goes towards them. Even he sees her, his reaction is, "Oh, you've come on your own? I was just about to come pick you up". No sorry, no worry, nothing. He just has a stupid smile on his face, like the ones Suhani used to have during her Somu Jaap. ššGod, if you had to pick up one of Suhani's qualities, why did you have to pick the worst ones, Yuvraj? š Yuvraj tells her that tomorrow is a big day and Suhani has to prepare the presentation for the Birlas. Wow, see, our multi-talented Princess Maid is being put to use. šš Suhani nods and goes to the kitchen to work.
DaRag have planned yet another charade to deepen the roots of doubt in Suhani's mind and send Suhani to Somu's room. Meanwhile, Rags calls Somu and tells her to pretend it's Yuvraj in front of Suhani. As Suhani walks into Somu's room, Soumya acts like Yuvraj has called her and is asking to her to ensure Suhani doesn't come. š”š¤¢ These Phateechars are leaving no stone unturned, people. Somu says to fake Yuvraj aka Ragini that she wants Suhani to be there with her on SUCH an important day of her life and if he wants Suhani to not come, he should tell her himself. Rags asks her to put the cherry on top of the cake by saying that she already hid the V-Day gift matter from Suhani. š„±š„±š„± YAWN! Somu finishes the fake call and hugs Suhani. Suhani tells her that Dadi has called her and once she walks out, is discomfited to see Yuvraj calling Soumya on her phone. There's just TOO much going on.
