Just like you and few more...am just hooked to SSEL only. Planning to give time till Holi...let's see how CV's will handle Yuvani and others till then. On Indian screen every serial starts with a lot of expectations and claim to be different and unique...but after few months and to maintain TRP's they screw the originality and stick to rat race recipes.
SSEL was and is still about inner vs superficial beauty...but somewhere since past few weeks focusing on one character has frustrated us.
Suppose Yuvraj kicks snaky out and accepts Suhani's love...then SSEL will have nothing further to show...except family drama- all the one's they had swept under the carpet...they might reopen them and can drag for few more months but will viewers still have the same enthusiasm to watch the family mess being cleared by Yuvani...?? Again it'll be the same old track we find in all typical serials.
So CV's are making sure we get excited, eager, angered, disappointed, betrayed and yet watch to see how things will eventually turn out. Since snaky's entry to BM, we have expressed and been through so many emotions with the characters...and last week was downhill for us. And Yuvraj was purposefully sketched so, bcos Suhani doubt track was on the pipeline... and then once she starts digging...am sure we all will stay glued with her. And then later too we'll be curious to know what she'll do next...walks out or will Pratima and co convince her? Where will she go, what will she do, will she be able to lead her life shunning all, will she be herself...so many questions need answering so we'll watch. And again...Yuvraj...will he realise his blunder, will he redeem himself or marry snaky as she was his first choice and his dadi's wish too? Will he ever be able to see and understand what beauty is all about...??
Well Sandi...CV's sure have a brilliant script, a solid foundation and loyal fan base...they just need to set few things right and give space and importance to all characters equally... It's not just Yuvani we love...there are other characters we have come to adore too...so they should do justice to all of them. I hope CV's realize that they are going to loose viewers if too much of screen space is given to one character.
Post Holi...let's see if any other new serials catch my interest or not... But honestly I don't think we'll find a sweet innocent couple like Yuvani...other serials may hot chemistry and all...but this pair is somehow unique and charming.
Please watch dkdm on star utsav. my all time fav actress Sonarika is in that show. she is the mothere goddesss adi shakti Parvati. it is the best mythological show ever.
