I liked today's episode for the ONLY reason that we saw a serious Suhani who for the first time, seemed disturbed by Soumya and Yuvraj's interaction.
YuvAni and Soumya's gift: As usual, we didn't a get a follow up scene to Suhani snapping at Yuvi yesterday and the episode started off with Soumya going into YuvAni's room to place her V-Day gift for him there. 🤢 Is YuvAni's room a walk-in closet or what? It seems like anybody can walk in at anytime. She walks in and she says, "Yuvraj, how could you think we could just be friends? There is only going to be love for us now!" 🤢 She says it with a sickly smile and goes and places her pathetic and cheesy gift in his wardrobe, because she remembers Suhani saying that he doesn't like anybody else messing around in it. Anyway, they gave us very dramatic scenes of Suhani striding purposefully to their room as if she was gonna catch Soumya, but who are you trying to fool CVs? 😆😆 You've tried this trick on us loads of times and we're not kids. As predicted, she gets interrupted by a phone call and doesn't see Soumya. When she does go in to take Yuvraj's wallet, she sees Soumya's big silver gift sitting pretty and assumes it's for her. She thinks to herself that Yuvraj never sends her to get anything for him, and the gift was the reason he sent her to get his wallet. 😲 She smiles sweetly and now, I just wanna cry at how hopeful she is. 😭 She takes out the snow ball that Soumya has gifted Yuvraj which has 'I love you' written on it and she is pleased. 😳 However, she vows to herself that Yuvraj will have to say 'I love you' to her directly and that she is Suhani Yuvraj Birla and will not take no for an answer. She then rushes off to her BFF Soumya and tells her excitedly about Yuvraj's 'surprise' for her. Soumya is shocked and says to herself, "Yuvraj planning a surprise for Suhani? Strange!". 😕 Why do you think it is strange? Have you ever thought that he might like her? 🥱 Yuvraj then goes to his closet and sees the gift and thinks to himself, "Why doesn't Suhani get that I don't understand all this?". 😕 What can I say? If you don't understand it, please just divorce her, because you clearly know she wants love. Conveniently, both YuvAni miss the From Soumya tag at the back of the box.
Yuvraj confronts Soumya: I was turned off by the fact that they might have Yuvi think the gift was from Suhani, but then Soumya creeped into their room and asked him how he liked it. Yuvraj turned around in shock and realised that it was Soumya who gave that snow ball to him. 😲He is rightly shocked and angered and takes Soumya to the balcony to talk about it. He asks Soumya why she gifted him something which says 'I love you' and Soumya responds that it's a friendly gift. He then says that Soumya is like Suhani's sister and he had thought that their 'friendly' handshake meant that everything had become clear between them and she was gonna stop her shenanigans. Soumya fakes it that she'll never do it again and asks him to keep the gift. Yuvraj refuses and pushes it into her hands, telling her that he can't take it. 👏 I have to say one thing, AFTER THIS, Yuvraj will STILL go out with Soumya on shopping trip. 🤢😡 He is as dumb as his wife. Dumbelina and Dum-raj ki Jai Ho!
Of course, our Alice in Wonderland Suhani, who is looking for Somu to complete her V-Day story sees them in the balcony just as Yuvraj asks Somu to keep the gift and becomes agog at it. She looks shocked and upset. 😭😭 Suhani then goes to Somu and asks her why Yuvraj gave her something which was meant for her. I'm so used to them dumbing Suhani down, that Suhani asking such simple questions surprised me. 😆😆 She then says that she will ask Yuvi and is about to walk off when Soumya stops her. The scene then cuts to Krishna's mom screaming at him for buying Soumya and expensive V-Day gift while Krishna asks her to not interfere between him and Soumya. 😲 His dad also supports him and Krishna couriers the gift to BH. What will be its fate? 😕
Suhani is sad: I think the last part of the episode was undoubtedly the HIGHLIGHT of the scene. Suhani is morosely cutting vegetables and while thinking about what happened earlier, she cuts her finger by mistake. We see a flashback where Soumya lies to Suhani that Yuvraj didn't know how to give her a gift, which is why he gave it to Soumya to hand over to Suhani. Soumya says she herself was surprised but then tells Suhani the gift is for her and shoves it into her hand. I'm so happy with this scene, mainly because, even after Soumya's lie, Suhani was STILL disturbed by what she had seen and the fact that Yuvi is not comfortable enough to give her a gift. 👏👏 Finally, a serious, sombre and thinking Suhani made her appearance. ShaTima rush to the injured Suhani and it was a really heartfelt scene where Suhani is crying and they take care of her. ShaTima truly love her. It was such a heart-twisting scene to watch. 😭😭 Pratima thinks Suhani is sobbing because of the cut, but we viewers understand that it's her greater grief over what happened that is making her sob like a baby. I expected Suhani to bounce back when Soumya lied to her, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that Yuvraj's behaviour bothered her. 😲 ShaTima console her like Yuvraj should console her and Sharad asks her to smile. Personally, even this scene was an opportunity to showcase a YuvAni scene where we see Yuvraj's concern for her, but it was probably not the right time.
Serious YuvAni moments and Dadi's Return: I again liked the YuvAni scene because it showed that the oblivious Suhani we have seen till now may not return and it was a moment where she was somewhat aware of what was happening. Suhani goes to their room and is glad that Yuvi is not around. Yuvi then walks on, plonks himself on the bed to relax, but his eyeballs almost pop out when he sees Soumya's gift on the bedside table.😲😲 He then tells Suhani he wants to speak to her and Suhani tells him that Soumya has already told her what happened. He seems shocked but is relieved when Suhani repeats Somu's lie to him. I think this scene also showed that Suhani is affected by Yuvraj's distance but was probably ignoring it till now, thinking they were taking it slow in the nascent stages of their marriage. I was happy she was not jumping with joy and said somberly, "You didn't give me the gift yourself, but thanks anyway for it!".😃 Thank God Suhani is showing us that she doesn't like this emotional wall between them. She then tells him to keep the gift away and hands it to him, while she walks out seriously. Yuvraj stops her and asks her if she wants to go out for golgappe and lunch. Suhani turns around, surprised and wonders how he got the idea. 😆😲 Again, she had a pensive face, so she is obviously surprised anytime he makes any effort on his own. Yuvraj looks surprised that she thinks he can't be creative. They then agree.
The last scene had the entry of our superstar, none other than DADI!! 🤢 She walks in on the FedEx guy bringing Krishna's gift and bribes him into taking it. She will OBVIOUSLY make sure Somu doesn't get it and tells him to tell Krishna he gave the parcel to Soumya. Her first scene after a long time, and she is already scheming. 😆😆
