Thoughts regarding today's episode

When I first saw a few of the spoilers for this episode a few days ago I was so excited, hoping that that there would be some progress. I was excited for Yuvani and their much awaited romantic scenes... What did I, or rather we all got? A lazy episode with HORRENDOUS editing, unrealistic reactions, butchering of characters and MOST IMPORTANTLY a mockery of such a serious issue like sexual assault. 🤢

First of all the technical department, or direction or whatever it was, there was absolutely no flow to today's episode, it went by too fast, jumping from scene to scene, it did not even give the viewer a chance to digest each scene, it cut from the seriousness of Suhani's sexual assult, to simply travelling to the picnic, to a barely 3-4 minute rare UNSEEN footage of the Birla fam being a little happy for once. What was with that??

Secondly, everyone's reaction when Suhani revealed what the taxi driver did. W*F? Even Suhani went from being traumatized to being happy within seconds. ARE YOU FU*KING SERIOUS? Rape/Sexual assault is not a trivial issue. No, thankfully I personally have never had to deal with it my life but I KNOW SOMEONE who escaped so narrowly, and you what it's been 2 years, and she is still traumatized by it. No one can be that happy after being molested. No one. Rags, Snake and the mother fu*king b*tch husband of Suhani just shrugged it off. Like Rags and Menka... Writers I thought they were supposed to be redeemable characters, are you telling me they felt no sympathy for Suhani? Absolute butcher of characters, they all fell in terms of respect for me.

Many of you are addressing this issue and I'm very happy to see the outrage that the mockery of rape in today's episode has caused among you guys. Seriously, you guys are AMAZING. Getting back to the show, it presents the mentality of so many around the world who simply shrug it off, LIKE NO. Sexual assault is one of the worst situations one can go through, you cannot just simply use it as a fu*king plot devise, you misogynistic CVs. I'm really hoping for some change fast.

Well I could write pages, but I think I need to put a stop here. I know you all are horrified and there will probably be more posts about this, rightly so.

P.S. Thanks to Clarity (Apu), for pointing out that there needs to be more posts in this forum. I will try to make a post every day, and encourage everyone reading to do the same. I have also tried to contact the CVs through facebook linking them to our posts, hopefully they take notice. 😊😊

It was appalling how they chose to deal with a serious issue like sexual assault in such a nonchalant manner!! It would be an understatement to say that it was mere carelessness. How despicable must those 3 women be to not even react to Suhani? Then there was her so called husband. Those 3 characters don't have a single redeeming qualities but him?? I was unimpressed how they mocked Suhani, like she doesn't even deserve a reaction let alone any sympathy from her husband?! He has hit the new low!! I have lost any sort of respect for him. Even Suhani, what are they implying?! that a picnic is all it takes for victims to get over (attempted/not)assault. The most unrealistic portrayal ever, you don't recover from that pain that quickly if ever. She didn't seem traumatised at all, all she cared was how to make up with Yuvraj?!

Today's episode was plain awful probably also because of the fact that i was in a foul mood after reading about upcoming episodes. To think that I was actually anticipating the 'picnic romance' which turned out to be a dream sequence even! So many things that didn't sit well with me tonight but that would mean my rant would never end. They are just having a laugh with this track. Honestly, they've lost the plot. One more week possibly, then I'm out.

...and the victims portrayel..completely disgusting!!! Just few tears and getting into husband's arms for relief, that's all, I think in real world no woman would like to go for a picnic, she will adamant to be back home, cry her heart out to people whom she loves but her Suhani was just keen to go for a picnic, clear misunderstandings with her husband who hardly cares fro her, compare herself with Big B and his wife while serving juice, smiling, singing...
