Star Plus is coming up with a big fiction show, which
will be a remake of a popular Bengali show..
According to our sources, "White Horse Productions is
coming up with a show for Star Plus. The show is official
adaptation of popular Bengali daily soap 'Ishti Kutum',
which is currently aired on Star Jalsa ."
The show explores relationships & prostitution and
revolve around tribal girl Bahamoni Soren. In a dramatic
twist a city journalist of a famous Kolkata newspaper,
Archisman Mukherjee was forced to marry Bahamoni.
Initially he does not like Bahamoni, and consider as a
nuisance in his life. He hides their marriage, and moves
on to marry his girlfriend Kamalika Majumdar, who is a
college Professor.
The casting is under process, several actors have been
approached for no one has been finalized yet. The show
will go on floor in the next month and is expected to
take the time slot of 6:00 PM or 6:30 PM.
