I need some clarification and would appreciate if anyone can clear it for me. Somehow after watching the episode again...it made me wonder is Yuvraj so naive and innocent? I know his feelings for Soumya has changed a lot over the few weeks and he seems to have moved on...but as a man why did he find it difficult and take so long to read Soumya's body language and intentions. Pratima and Sharad have already asked him to be cautious and still Yuvraj remains unaware... why? Sorry I don't remember if this was discussed in the forum earlier or not (if discussed...appreciate the link) ... since Christmas Soumya has voiced her feelings loud and clear. Be it with gift scene where she argues in front of all shamelessly that Yuvraj is her's and she'll buy him a gift. And then when exchanging gifts...she again voiced out how good her choice is and then went on to put down Suhani. And then since meal night (refuse to call dinner date as it was not a date for Yuvraj) she has been trying to share something with him instead of her friend Suhani...and why didn't this rouse any suspicion in him? Didn't he even think for a second as what and why does Soumya want to tell only him and not her best friend. Yesteday too she wanted to speak only to Yuvraj and royally ignored Suhani...but our sweet girl held her hand and dragged to share her feelings.
This female has sent divorce papers to Krishna, but still isn't divorced and she's lusting behind a married man and that too her best friend's husband... seriously how can cv's make a character stoop so low. She is still someone's wife and daughter-in-law...and being educated she is behaving like a possessed woman and so cheaply.
Sowmya is clearly acting deluded but I think she is also being very clever about it. While it is obvious to us as viewers to understand her because of her plotting with Dadi and the Bhabhis, her actions as a standalone will be difficult to interpret very surely.
That is exactly why Sharad and Pratima could not tell Yuvraj directly. They cannot pinpoint her fault with conviction as she can always explain her actions away with an innocent explanation.
She already has a readymade answer. She is extremely troubled by her broken marriage and hence very sensitive towards whatever she is exposed to.. Her behavior with Suhani has been extremely rude but Suhani, the person she is has given Sowmya a great leeway, allowing space for her distress and stress. Even when Sowmya rudely asks Suhani to leave and Ragini pours more fuel into that fire, we clearly saw Suhani informing Ragini that Sowmya has every right to be angry with her because she is her friend. Sowmya is just using this cleverly.
As for Yuvraj, he is bound to see no big difference. Sowmya tries to act all coy and victimized in front of him but there is no way that Yuvraj would think that she would betray her best friend Suhani this way. The thought seems to have never entered his mind until he heard her confession today..
Blindness caused on one end by trust from Suhani and indifference from Yuvraj is the reason for Sowmya being able to do what she is doing till now.
