New Layout for IF - Feedback required - Page 41

A site design that cannot or does not adapt gracefully to reasonable browser configurations is a FAILURE. This has been known for YEARS. Some screenshots:

Horizontal scroll to read posts?? Because of fixed width tables?? Losing all that space on the left, in 2008??? After all these years, this is not even design failure. It's design stupidity, plain and simple.

Let's just say that I'm far from impressed. (And please no one even begin to think of trying to "advise" me to maximize my browser window or similarly behave like some drooling web-moron. My browser windows are sized optimally for ME because this is MY computer. Thanks in advance.)

get rid of the side menu blue column from the rest of the pages. it's fine on the main page of the forum but to have it on each and every page of the thread............
