Hi,
You upload this Image in www.imageshack.us

then copy the Direct link
then Click -> Setting (Beside Private Message)
then go to Edit Profile go down(scroll the window)
Till you reach Avatars.
then beside Preview button there will be a text box(free space) paste the direct link.. and press preview it is comming the press update button present at the bottom of the page
