My issue is the lack of moderation and responses.
No one bothers to reply. Firstly, if you can't do the job, please don't be a Moderator. Sometimes, PM's are never responded to. How are the members supposed to open threads?? For an open forum, it's pretty darn restrictive and no respect for members.

There are some new shows, that don't have forums. Why is IF so biased?

Something needs to be done on this by Vijay and his team.
  • There are comments are which are highly offensive on religion (mostly hinduism) and country (India). In any random topic BJP and Modi is brought it. If its INDIA forums then why India bashing is allowed?
  • There are members who gang up and stalk to bully & abuse in different threads.
  • MODS for more than a year don't respond and DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT abusers. If they are less interested then remove them. Why should there be NO onus on moderators to REPLY?
  • There should be a system to at least inform the member for removal of post, warning etc
  • Members should be told what action has been taken against the abuser. Some sort of assurance, this blind by saying by mods is false.
  • There should be system to rate the moderators so that those who are incompetent to judge fairly or absent mostly should be removed.
  • Posting pictures is becoming difficult now, can that be made easy?
  • Also videos from other sites such as FB, Twitter, Instagram cannot be posted, if that can be rectified.
  • A feature to know the who has replied to your post.

Top most priority according to me should be the matter about lack of moderation here. Many forums don't have DTs and pardon me for souding rude but GMs are so inactive and inconsiderate of fan wars, reports and other matters in general. They don't care to check their PMs too leave alone reply.
Many users are very much neutral on I-F and a lot of active so if they could be made DTs for active forums, that would be a blessing for users. And as someone here already suggested, a voting system for moderators where people can vote who was good and who didn't care about the responsibility given.
We understand that being a DT or GM on I-F is not a paid job but it is not forced on you either. It is a work you volunteered for!

Members reported, no action us taken. They continue bashing and attacking actors and other users. Please do something about it. It is again due to inactivity of GMs I assume.

Change criteria for recruiting mods, not everyone highly active on this forum watches on giung shows. Some just like to talk about the old ones they like and are very much rewatching. Some people just like to read fictions and not necessarily update about shows. Members who have been very much active in comments, discussions, CCs etc should be able to apply for moderation but of course they should not be having any history about bashing etc and should have neutral views and they should have been very much active in the last few months.

Changing the color of your name. I don't like the Sizzlers color at all, many don't.

Change of username every 6 months.

Vijay please implement the changes as soon as possible. Drastic action needs to be taken to improve the site & run it smoothly without conflicts & issues among members!!
TM, I liked your suggestions & hope something is done to avoid members creating problems for others!! As well as others, there have been some good suggestions suggested!! BIllicat, I agree it is necessary for admins & mods to keep track of members posts, but make it visible for only the member, admin & mods. It just invites stalking & bashing. Agree it is a public forum, but expanding preferences for members would keep the forum healthier!! Just talking from past experience!! Yes report button is there, but it does not really solve issues, & are repeated!!

Other suggestions I would like to add is, can we have the option to delete our outbox too, sometimes we accidentally send pm to someone else!!

Limit members to having only 2 siggies activated at a time...might be mixed views on this, just my opinion though!!

I would also like to suggest, can we have a feature where we are notified when someone quotes us/replies to our posts, or mentions us?

When we update preferences, signatures, receive testimonials & slambooks...disallow it showing on others dashboards...status updates are fine, but others are not necessary!!

I know a lot of suggestions across 2 threads are to look into, but hope to see drastic changes as soon as possible!! :)

the choice to delete account should also be present..someone mentioned about it being misused especially with trolling but i think that if a member does that, once he/she deletes account everything goes, post and all. If not, banning/report account should do..

A few suggestions

1) Remove the like feature. It is an online forum... Who cares, but a lot of drama is due to the likes.
2) Implement a rule for all forums that if two people are having a conversation, then a third or fourth member, especially if he/she is not going to contribute to a healthy discussion should mind their own business 😃 On some forums there are DRAMATIC and elaborate "SHOWS" for egoistic reasons. It is amusing to watch, but starts to become boring after a while when every topic turns into drama... we come to discuss TV shows and movies.. Not to be a part of member drama or reality show saga...Keeping Up With The Dramatic Members.

3) Keep the rules consistent and fair applicable to ALL members regardless of which fandom they belong to.

4) Kindly remove that Moderator account. Again we are still facing the same issue unable to tell which mod used that account. that account randomly shows up to lock the topics, hands out WL to selective members... it would be nice if members that are part of Dev team were more upfront using their own ID's to lock a topic instead of hiding behind the Moderator ID

Hey, I dont think the like button can be or should be removed, as when people agree to a members post it should be used for that purpose, or if they like that post, & it would also reduce TFS or thanks posts...thats why the like button was implemented!!

Agree in ''red'' but I think they can easily quote in a separate post & still have a dig at that post or member!! I'd still like 3rd member to be blocked from replying if they are gona turn the convo negative...better if the mods act quick & raise their WL if they cant be on appropriate behavior!!

I dont know why the Mod account is a mystery, even though I think still handling the forum by giving warnings & closing threads that turn negative, but yes you have a fair point, mods need to be upfront!!

To be honest I think the CC in Bollywood forum should be closed, coz the thread is used to gossip about other members & have digs at one another, full of dramas, fights & personal attacks from what I have seen!! I think Chat Clubs create bashing & negativity, been there, seen what they are like!! They should be just invites only & visible to members part of that CC only, if they are used!!

Thank you for reading & I hope you dont mind me giving my view!! 😃
