Is Buzz only the important part of IF?

Hello everyone,

I don't understand why the page creators are taking Buzzes in foreground...
For example (on the mobile version) on the first page of IF you can see the big version of the buzzes.. with big pictures are texts.. and all the Forums and Channels come after that.
This is not all what I wanted to say. Now, IF even changed again.. which got worse !
On both the Versions mobile and desktop, you can see on the bottom of the Topics / Threads many Buzzes with very very big pictures and texts which are not even soo big on front page.

Here is an example
http://i.imgur.com/CvLfM8V.jpg

Why are you doing this? Why don't you ask the people on IF what they like to see on the Forums?
I am definitely sure, 99,9% of people would prefer the old version better than this!
Why are you trying to add many media to the Forum/Page? What would people do when their Internets are restricted? Just one visit to this site, would finish the complete internet of theirs! And I know a friend who is no more visiting IF because she/he has internet problems.

The old version was peaceful. Clean.! Whenever I open Chrome on my phone, it always refeshes IF and then I again come to the mobile version and need to scroll down to click on to Show desktop version... which takes ages to me to do...

This time, I really want to get a reply from Vijay Sir. Which site inspires you to change IF?
everyone joined IF because it was easy and clean. No one joins IF for the buzzes! Obviously, buzzes are important. But whenever we open topics , we already got to see new Buzzes on right side of our posts which were enough.. or we could check the first page...We open topics to see the topic and the comments! Not because we want to see buzzes!

Please everyone, give your point of view regarding this.

yeah you are right. The only good thing are the buttons. (example:quote, edit, etc..) The thing is, showing Buzzes on every page we visit is not needed! Buzz buzz buzz.. everything buzz only!! What happened to IF nowadays?? really... I am a very very old Member of this Forum, I have even visited this page before 2009 (I have joined IF) , it was soo peaceful and clean. No one had any problems with this page, I dunno why so suddenly they wanna change the Page...

i agree to this TM completely. I am unable to open this new IF and chat like i do it before. Lots of issues like buzzes , advertisements , page taking lot of time to upload. The important issue that is eating my mind is they dont have the option of deleting the outbox messages.

i have two complaints against IF

1.why can't full hd or more qhd resolution pic nt be allowed to
be posted or used as ur dp?

when technology has moved ahead with high resolution yet
IF prompts that u can't post this pic as its a higher resolution
than permitted then feel like banging the head of the administrator
for nt upgrading the IF n remaining a full fledged dinosaur..

2.the horrible color of Achievers..
man must have a taste n sense of color n beauty..
from which angle is the achiever's color attractive???
either the site developer n hs associates have poor taste or
are totally color blind ppl to use such a lame color for achievers..

in fact i believe users should be allowed to choose own color for
their names..the rank is already mentioned below the name
whether ur dazzler achiever is already readable from there
so there is no need to define a finite color for every group..

i may nt like the color designated to me..i wish to have it changed so
what must i do?wait n spam to get the desired color change?
it is most illogical thinking..
give us the freedom of choosing our own shade of color n stop
this monotonous practice of stick with ur assigned color for ages ..

show some practical sense IF administrators n stop being outdated
oldies 😡

Completely agree with you. 👍🏼
Whenever I use IF more, the internet usage goes beyond limit and I'm forced to work with slower speed. That's one of the few reasons why I hardly come to IF now a days 😒
If they reduce the unwanted buzzes, it will be great :)

Technology has progressed yet IF had made promises that the site will be more user friendly and easier but none of that really happened

Hi All,
We tested the matched content feature which Google launched for publishers and it promised that it would highlight the best stuff from our site.

In a few days testing we realised its creating more problem then it solves. So it was taken off the site 2 days back itself.

I also agree with many members that we need to move with the times as technology has moved way ahead of us. We are working on it and we should be able to show our work soon to our members when we enter the beta stage of our new design.

The new design is way cleaner, modern and fast and it is very responsive so that mobile users data packs is consumed less.

I have to admit that work has been slower than what we anticipated. I would just like to say that please hang on a little more.

Our focus is going to be the forums as that is what made India Forums what it is.

Regards,

Lol I'm facing a hell load of technical glitches ever since the revamp occurred ...I agree that the whole buzz thing is pointless ...one more thing I think is unnecessary is that under every topic's page u see 'Related topics' some of which are pretty old...the whole scheme of colors esp for addictz n achieverz is bad choice ...moreover the loading time for every page is slow and opening up other websites is pretty fast despite removing cookies, checking my net speed, etc
