but look at the hind side

it can become a tool in the hands of troble makers

for example if member A dislikes Member B then he can click dislike to all of that members posts and any nuetral party may not even read the post thinking its not likable

Dislike can create negative image about a post which may be likable just because there may be some friction between some people

then there are some other types of trouble makers on the forum

you would all know what i mean

true but some people can hit dislike on these types of posts also

imagine a person creating a post nd ends up with 20 dislikes nd 4 likes

Hey dear,

The Dislike button actually promotes bashing. Someone may press the dislike button for non abusive reasons but the poster could take it out of context. its only going to create more chaos especially in problematic sections because members will hit the dislike button without reading the content or because they dislike the topic maker and it will discourage the members to post .People will be afraid to come forward to post their opinions and it will reduce the participation in the forum and will turn out to be another form for "online bullying".

i am sure everyone have noticed how the Like button have already created cold vibe. If a post is made targeting a member (offensive), then its liked by particular gang/members because they "dislike" that person. And trust me, it hurts the members sentiments and feelings and creates animosity. Look around the tellybuzz comments, so much of bashing and negativity already out there .. Dislike button will only make it more worse ..
