Biography :

Rajat Tokas is a 22 year old actor who rose to fame as a 15 year old for playing the lead role in star plus' hit show , Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan. The show earned him a large fan following and critical acclaim. He won numerous awards including the best actor,popular award in the ITA 2007, unheard of for someone so young. Currently, he is playing the role of Jalauddin Mohammed Akbar, one of the greatest rulers the world has ever seen in the epic historical show Jodha Akbar.

He has worked in various shows like Sai Baba, Tere liye and Dharamveer.

Lavina started out as a child artist in Aruna Irani's 'Tum Bin Jaoon Kahan' and from then on there was no looking back. She has worked on a number of popular television shows such as Prithviraj Chauhan, Jhoom Jiya Re, Jaane Pehchane Se Yeh Ajanabi, Eka Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai. Currently, she plays the role of the Mughal Empress Ruqaiya Sultan Begum, the first wife and chief consort of Emperor Akbar, opposite her Prithviraj Chauhan co-star, Rajat Tokas.
