Senseless FF threads floating around leads to Chaos

Please read below to know what I mean by "senseless" ;)

Hello to all IF fellow-beings!!

There's this issue that I have observed most of the new members are facing.

A lot of Fanfictions have been posted on IF and as any show comes to end writers either remove, delete, leave incomplete or move their works to their own Blogs. This may also happen due to plagiarism or lack of motivation. Self-banning is also very popular here. But the end result is that the new members are neither able to read these works and when they request the writers they are blamed for plagiarizing the work. Please try to stop plagiarism here so that those who are innocent do not suffer.

The issue I'm raising here is that why are Writers given so much power over Readers??? Most of the writers do not respect the readers.
If, one does not write FF's that, does NOT mean one is not able to write anything. Everyone has one talent or the other.
If the writers want to pull down their works, what is the purpose of posting it in the first place. And if they no longer wish to share their works why is it that their threads are not deleted?? Is it to punish the new readers? Take for example the FF's associated with Iss Pyaar Ko... serial. This forum is full of deleted, shifted, self-banned works. Why is it that these writers are promoting their Blogs on IF?

I would like to suggest the DT that please delete those FF threads which do not have any story or incomplete stories left on them. Also if the member has got him/herself banned their FF threads should also be deleted. This will lead to less chaos.

Thanks for reading the issue raised here and the suggestion too.

Tada.

Hey
Every author of FF has right to delete the FF since its copyrighted by themselves.

Secondly about deleting half written works /banned id threads is not a very good idea since deleting a incomplete story means deleting the half story written by the member. This is in one way ruining the handwork done by the author . And its authors decision whether he completes the story or not .

If the threads which has banned IDs are deleted then once they come back they wont be getting back their deleted FFs ,so as per me its not advisable to get the half written stories and banned ID stories removed by DT.

hope it helps.😳

Hey do you really think that after getting oneself banned a person would return to the forum? What is the purpose of getting banned then?
We can login even after months and still the account is valid so why get banned? See my point?

I also mentioned that the author's have erased the data from their posts hence there's no story left still such kind of thread are afloat here.

Yes the authors have the copyright authority but that applies for plagiarizers also and what do we see here that the stories are blatantly being copied and the newbies have to suffer due to that. Being a newbie how can you prove that you are ignorant? rather I should say that why should newbies keep on proving themselves?

It's an open forum and stuff should be shared here openly rather than inviting readers to Private Blogs.

Is this how it all works here? No response, no action taken. Waste of time for all of us.

"Sab chalta hai" attitude.

hey
firstly I would like to apologize for not giving a prompt reply , but honestly it wasn't intentional.

Coming to your topic ,banning does not mean they have left IF . Some people feel they are so addicted to IF that they can't help but spend half of the time in here, so they apply for a self ban when they have exams or any important events.

If a member cleared out all of his story parts then also the section DT cant trash the post without permission of the author of post ,since its not against IF rules to edit out self written posts . And in case the writer cleared out half of his posts then again what i said earlier applies, like trashing because he/she edited half posts means trashing the other half which is not deleted .

About blaming newbies for plagiarizing , most of the plagiarism is done by newbies that's the only reason newbies are having a bit of restriction.(10 posts per day) But I can assure you , no newbie will be banned or deprived from being a part of IF unless they breach the rules and hey everyone was a newbie once and had to go through the same rules 😳
hope it helps. 😳

PS: done some editing now ,since yesterday i posted from mobile 😆

Nazmeen there's nothing to apologize about, so don't do that. I wasn't expecting a prompt reply but a reply for sure.

Thanks for answering to the issues concerned. I can understand now how things work here.

I wasn't aware that plagiarism was being carried out ONLY, by newbies, or even most of it. Quite strange!! so does that mean people create accounts only to plagiarize? That's truly a punishable offense.

Yeah! girl everyone was a newbie once and some are still. Didn't know that being new to an group can also deter one.

Since few authors have already left but, it's good to see that there's still a ray of sunshine here. We can cherish the writers who have shown trust in us and have seen the positive side of a situation. At least all writers are not high-headed.

hey
The restriction of 10 posts is put up mainly cause of advertising and spamming issues. I am not blaming anyone butsadly mostly newbies are caught for spamming and plagiarising
