Can you all just do the below:
1. Acknowledge that the basis of publishing articles is flawed and not impartial. From the replies that have been given to us previously, it is obvious that there is no system in place in ensuring that there is impartiality in publishing articles. The TB team has to acknowledge this and commit to having a system in place that is clearly communicated to the forum members.
2. Acknowledge that the CM ranking system is flawed as well since one of the component (buzz points) is in the hands of the TB team (and we have agreed in point 1 that there is no system in place to eliminate impartiality).
3. Detail the action points that the TB team or the IF team plan to adopt to rectify the above findings - (a) Have a system in place to ensure the consistency in determining what articles to publish or (b) Do not include buzz points in the CM ranking.
4. Commit to the action plans...and set a timeline to review the action plans.
5. Review whether the action plans is providing the desired results!!
All that me and my fellow forum members are trying to do is to suggest improvements to the system (or lack of) that is in place. Please act on it.
There is no point in having a suggestions/comments section when no one chooses to act on them. Please acknowlegde the comments/suggestions given and be transparent on what is being done to work on them or explain truthfully why things are being done in a certain manner.
I do hope that someone can acknowledge that there is some issues in the current system and assure the forum members that the team is working on improving!!
It is disheartening that despite having the matters raised previously, the TB team is not trying to improve the system.
