I have been getting a number of questions here and there as well, hence I wish to clarify them all here!
F.A.Q
1. What is Halloween?
Halloween is an annual day celebrated in most part of the world, where by children dress up in various costumes, and the houses are decorated in various manners (spooky, palace, etc). In the evening, the children go around door to door and scream "trick or treating". The house owners, will either try to trick the kids (scare them) and then ALWAYS treat them with chocolates 😛. They will get many bags of chocolates that they wouldn't have to buy it for few months 😆.
2. How many forums can a member take part in?
Only One Forum per member
3. How many team members can we have per team?
Unlimited; any member from a particular forum can join and can be part of the team as long as they help!
4. How do we create the team?
If no one has opened a thread yet, please open a thread in your forum of interest and get members to signup. Here is an example:
5. What do we do after signing up?
PM MP_Radha or the crazycreative account and send the treasure hunt sign up thread as well as a completed list of the participants. Then begin working on a Haunted House - Welcome Thread.
6. What should our Haunted - House - Welcome thread consist of?
It should be creative and should have the elements of a haunted house. Hence please use www.glitter-graphics.com to find various glitters associated with halloween and decorate your welcome thread. Also create a signature to be used by your TEAM from October 26th till October 31st. Please note, you do not need to create any activity. Please reserve ONE POST to update on which teams have gotten which clue! To be explained below.
7. When do we have to have the Haunted - House Thread ready by?
The deadline is OCTOBER 26th, 2012. Once you have completed, PLEASE PM the link of your welcome thread to crazycreative account, along with the list of people in your Team. Also PM your section DT to have it Stickied.
The crazy creative team will then send you more instruction as well as a list of DUTIES that the teams should try to ALLOCATE to each member, so they are responsible for that particular duty. We will ALSO SEND A TREASURE, as explained below.
8. What is a treasure and what do we do with it?
The treasure is a small piece of a big puzzle to be provided to you by the Crazy Creative Team after the completion of your thread. Hence this is why you are requested to send the welcome thread to the crazy creative team upon its completion so the CC team can send you your treasure. Once you are provided with the treasure, find a most recent thread within your forum (BUT NOT THE WELCOME haunted house THREAD) and hide it. Then come up with three clues that would help the others find where you hid the clue.
9. What are clues for and how we get them?
Clues are cues to help the other teammates find the treasure in a particular forum. They are set by each participating teams based on where they hide it in their forum. So each clue would give one cue about the thread where the treasure is hidden. The other teams MUST VISIT the welcome haunted house thread of each participating team and TRICK OR TREAT! The particular host will upon your arrival to their thread will give you the CLUE BY PM.
NOTE: The clues must be PMed to the team member who requests for it on your welcome haunted thread. No clues are to be posted openly on the welcome thread. The welcome thread is for members to mingle and be greeted, and also for the particular team to keep track of who all have gotten what clue, etc.
10. What do we do once we find the treasure?
Once you fine ALL THE TREASURES, in all the participating teams, you have to send the treasures to crazycreative account by October 31st, 2012.
