I am having such a difficult time understanding this story.
Pretty girl Saltanat gets the guy. She is mahaan. She has freedom. She has both parents who love her and let her do whatever she wants. She is modern. She has principles. Basically, nothing bad happens to her and she ends up getting whatever she wants.
Kainat, on the other hand, spent her entire life being a good daughter/granddaughter. She loses her father. She saw her mother living a widow's life. She only had one dream: her husband would be a good guy and will love her. Everyone around her got her hopes high that she will marry Zaroon. To her devastation, the first thing he says to her is "I don't want to marry you". It turns out he is in love with Saltanat. If I was in Kainat's place, I would also hold resentment for Saltanat. Its almost as if Kainat is being punished for being raised traditionally. Is it her fault that her upbringing was like this? She actually cut her finger so she has an excuse to cancel the engagement. She didn't want to kill herself but rather she didn't want to go against her elders and say no to the marriage. Can you even imagine the pain she is going through? I don't understand why CVs are showing her in a negative light. Do they want audience to hate her so they accept SaRoon? Don't they understand that forcing SaRoon is giving them 0.5 TRP?
Basically, the story is ugly girl with glasses gets rejection. Her pretty lookalike sister gets to have love in her life. This is what the CVs have conveyed so far.
I am not at all sorry when I say that I actually love Kainat and don't care for S at all. I find all SaRoon scenes puke-worthy and I just skip over their scenes. The romance is so superficial and forced. It looked as if Zaroon fell in love with her good looks and nothing else. How did he fall so hopelessly in love in 10 episodes and S suddenly has feelings for him too? I feel for Kainat when she speaks rudely to S. How would you feel if your sister got everything she wanted and you never got anything? I just can never hate Kainat. All she gets is suffering and pain while Saltanat is blessed with everything. I know S is not intentionally trying to snatch anything from K but from K's POV that is what it looks like.
If CVs shove SaRoon down our throats by making S positive and K negative then that is the end for me. I hope they introduce someone that loves Kainat unconditionally. Zaroon doesn't deserve K. Hamza also doesn't deserve her as he has ulterior motives and doesn't really love her. If KaiZa end up together, Zaroon needs to show huge improvement on how he judges someone's character. If not, Hamza is absolutely right when he said that Zaroon is Saltanat's second-hand lover and K deserves better.
Sufiyana, for me, is Kainat's story. I want to see how she accepts more modern approaches while still keeping her faith intact. Modern is not always right and extremely traditional is also not correct. I want Kainat to accept the middle ground.
