NC hasn’t gone below 85M in some 10 odd events..to be honest ..we were quite anxious yesterday since he wasn’t able to breach even 84M in the first 3 throws..and thought this will be his worst performance in 7 years..and then he just did the unthinkable with 89 plus in the last one..1️⃣ that’s why he is India’s best athlete. 90M will come..and yesterday was not a medal event..he just needed to be in top 6 to qualify for finals which comfortably will. It’s NC’s hunger to breach 90M which is why he looks tense. I’m sure he will do it soon.

Julian Weber was cheering and motivating NC in the last throw.smiley32 NC looks happy with his last throw ..looks like he will get surgery done post the finals. He is scheduled to come back to India in first week of October https://youtu.be/v3imYkpbc48?si=3OZ2b0pu_vfVKq0K

Anderson has already thrown 93 M in 2022..so this was not his first time throwing above 90M..thats why everyone is behind NC to throw 90 plus since..most top contenders Weber, Nadeem, Anderson, Vetter etc have already thrown above 90M in some competition..even before Olympics..

93 ... wow smiley3

Lol it seems something happens to athletes in olympics who perform well in other events smiley37

Neeraj need surgery and recovery as a break and not stress that much on 90 now

yes he said that after the finals he will definitely decide on what to do on the injury..apparently he is in touch with best medical doctors in the world. Also this other guy Johannes Vetter has a record of 96. Something metres but he couldn’t participate in Olympics due to injury..Vetter even said 90M is new normal for him and he throws it for fun lol.
