No doubt sachin will always be the best player in any format in world cricket...but it doesn't mean that without him cricket will be over.

Why ppl r blaming dhoni? It was dhoni who played match winning knock in world cup finale which fulfilled sachin's dream of winning world cup.

The day India and Pakistan lay off this stupid game which much of the developed world doesn't care about, we can make some real progress. The only countries that are addicted to this game are former English colonies still suffering from colonial hangover. A game that eats up half of your day isn't worth watching when you could be doing something more productive. I didn't even watch a single ball in the series, haven't seen any cricket consistently since the whole expose involving Hansie Cronje.

I hope for the day when India and Pakistan are competing in some real sport like Hockey or other sports in Olympics.

For your information, Mahendra Singh Dhoni is and always will be the best captain EVER to have graced the team. You think that he is a newcomer, you think he loves losing. Hell no! He doesn't but you know what he cares about his players. He cares about the team. See his personal records. He doesn't care about getting 100's and reaching so many runs! He cares about the team.

People have given him loads of slack over various tournaments but not this time! He plays honestly and with all his heart and if you want to blame anyone then blame yourself because you call yourself a fan and yet the minute the team lose you abuse the captain! That is just great isn't it. I bleed blue. I will till I die. The team is going through change. It is going through a new phrase with re-adjustment of batting line-ups and new bowlers and the team will be back. Everyone has bad days but good days do follow!

You just need to watch the world cup final and see the same DHONI! Who helped lift the cup after decades, or maybe you haven't seen the first ever T20 world cup which was surprise surprise won under the captaincy of DHONI!!
