Why did SS end?

I wanna know why did they end SS? Was it not popluar? Or was there some differences within the cast and crew? Or did they run out of ideas? Please tell me... thnx

ss ended all right...but not coz it was unpopular or something.... i relly dont know why it ended....yes...all the star one shows...all the good ones that made it "star one" ended at the same time.... and wrapped up tht month...coz thr were a lot of new shows.....comin on air...and now...ekta kapoor has taken over tht channel too.....
and like bhanu said....a year long run is perfect for a serial like ss...tho we all wud have liked it to continue....
lets just say...that ss ended.... coz of the old sayin...."All good things come to an end!" 😊

I feel just one thing about this....SS ended coz. the starone ppl did/does not understand the value of such shows...all they feel is that the T.R.P's can go up only if Ekta stuff is on air...the family dramas and sagas...
They also feel that ss had lesser known actors no big names...but they do not realize what a quality of actors it had...
well...it is a big bad world of politics ruling everywhere....game of money power and who is who...

but u know what...im not justifyin ekta kappor here....but she is providing only what the audienc wants to see.... we live in cities...most of us...and are a group of well educated ppl... we liked the star one shows...and almost all of them catered to an urban audience...be it ss, siddhant, hotel kingston, sarabhai, guns and roses, bluffmaster, dil kya chahta hai....all of them... but majority of India is rural... and also the ppl who watch the most of TV are the bored housewives.... ekta and the other crappy serial makers are only catering to their needs...as they will giv them the most trps....
but we atleast had star one...the one...sole channel tht provided us with stuff tht appealed to our tastes...and these K-serials had to enter tth territory too!!! 😡
