Yesterday I watched the episode where Ajay while he is talking to Anjali on his mobile he apparently hits a girl and kills her. In the end it turns out that the girl commited suicide and Ajay is innocent.

In that episode Shotgun acts like a pompous ass concluding that Ajay is guilty and accusing the investigative Team of not doing there duties properly.
Why is he so against the investigative team? And y is he rude?

yes i rember tht episode....shotgun is a dog thr....he keeps segregatin the forensics and investigators....and treats them like a diffrent team....it was much later tht he was at peace with them....!!

The names Boxer & shotgun are they nicknames? If so how did they get the names?

well..... boxer and shotgun are nicknames yes....
boxer's real name is abbas ali baig.... even i do not know how he got the name boxer.... they never mentioned it in the serial.... maybe its coz he hits ppl?? lol...but yes...once i remember...a lawyer had asked him..:"Boxer?? bada ajeeb sa naam hai na?" and boxer replied, "kaam bhi ajeeb sa hi karte hai!"
well...abt shotgun...i relly dont know how he got his nickname....but he is a pucca bengali....and his real name is shubroto chatterjee....

well regarding Boxer i must say one thing ...he is very faithful,hard working,strong,alert and intellegent all the characters of a dog ...so may be that name!!! what say?...he is person who commands respect (ofcourse after Aryan)!!!...
Regarding Shotgun i feel he sometimes talks very politically ,sharp and to the point...just like a perfect shot ...so may be ...
