Originally the word "picnic", from the French pique-nique, meant "a fashionable social entertainment in which each party present contributes a share of the provisions". Around the middle of the 18thcentury, these outings were arranged by the English and French aristocracy. Servants, chairs, fine china and crystal along with picnic baskets of wonderful delicacies were loaded into carriages for a trip to the lush woods where thefestivities took place.
So basically, a picnic can be defined simply as a pleasure excursion at which a meal is eaten outdoors, ideally taking place in a beautiful landscape such as a park, beside a lake or with an interesting view and possibly at a public event such as before an open air theatre performance, and usually in summer...
ok lets not start classes on picnic..... as its fun time....
so.... where shall we go.... hmmm... wht abt a.... beach picnic....
lets pack our bags n get ready for a fun filled picnic.....
u can carry all u wanna eat.... wear.... play....

Check your picnic list or towels,
swimming n driving/scuba gear extra layers of clothing, beach toys, surfboards, kites etc.- Take torches or lanterns in case you're still there after that beautiful sunset. Darkness can descend very quickly in some places.
- Observe warning signs and flags regarding the safety of the beach and water.
- Check the times of high and low tides. You don't want to lose your blanket, or worse, while you're strolling at the other end of the beach!
- Avoid sunburn ' take hats, sun shades, sun cream etc. You can burn more easily by the coast because the sun reflects off the water and sand.
