Faisal Khan is excited about shedding his negative image in 'Rakhi'
Faisal Raza Khan has rattled the lives out of people with his evil acts as Shakti in 'Solhah Singarr' (Sahara One). But now he is turning over a new leaf in the noon show 'Rakhi' (Zee). Faisal says, "I am very excited about this role. For the first time, I will be playing a positive role. I play the protagonist's brother. Interestingly, the character also reflects an extremist side thus adding a different dimension."
Faisal is also excited about the look he is sporting for the character. "The serial is set in Benares. Although it is set in contemporary times; the costumes are traditional. I've been given brocade suits and vintage spectacles to go with it. I enjoyed the whole process-from choosing the vintage frame to adding a coat-watch, to the set of props needed to shoot the scenes. The fact that the creative team approved of it only motivated me to take more interest in the show," he says. Faisal expects this role to be a milestone in his career.
