It started early...
Mesmerized she heard the stories of a young prince...
Woven so beautifully by her pitashri..
Stories about his valour and gallantry...
his gentleness and greatness...
She strung them with her imagination...
into delicate venis..and wound them around her heart
Ram who was dearest to his father ...his mothers..n brothers
The best disciple..the best son..the best brother..
He heard about her too..a young princess...
elegant and charming..with an empathetic heart...
Their destiny brought them together...and it was love at first sight..
Both stood there...gazing at each other..their eyes eloquent...
His eyes held profound love for her..hers devotion..
They were made for each other...Narayan and Lakshmi...
their hearts beat in unison..chanting each other's name..
He was taken in by her ethereal beauty...her by his majestic looks.
Then came the moments of distress..anguish n torment..
Her honour was at stake..He came...
magnanimous in his approach... n conquered the world for her..
She could only stare...her face glowed..
he was all a woman could ever wish for...
She walked towards him with utmost trust ..
His eyes promised the world to her...
What followed was the most beautiful event of the millennium...
Delicate golden marigold petals brightened the ambience...
Red rose petals perfumed the air...
every beat of music was melodious
holy mantras reverberated..
the garlands were scented..
the sindoor was bright...
the rituals were solemn...and in order
Narayan n Lakshmi were together again..
They were made for each other...
a divine couple...most magnificent and gracious...
He crafted a masterpiece for her...
with his own hands..the gift was accepted with abundant love..
glorious moments of love n bliss followed...
promises were made to each other...
They accepted each other for ever..
There was laughter n love in the air...
Then gloom crept in their lives...
A son decided to honour his father's words ..
because in Raghukul promises were kept...
She wouldnt part with him for a moment...
she followed him to the Van...
Life was hard ...but together they stole moments of happiness...
Their love was everlasting...
He was protective n caring...she most loving and supportive..
Their love kept them strong..
Then happened what shouldnt have happened
A woman was taken against her will to a faraway land
Her husband was heart broken...
his tears were full of unbearable pain..
Enraged he vowed to avenge that horrendous deed...
She waited with every breath for him...
He crossed the vast ocean to reach her...His and only his Sitae...
and brought her back...
To Ayodhya
They shared moments of togetherness...
their eyes heavy... hearts light...voice husky...
She had a divine glow on her face..her happiness knew no bounds...
She was to be a mother..him a father...
they look in wonder at each other..
Could life be more beautiful...
But then again gloom n despair knock at their door and barge in...
they snatch away their happiness...
n crush it under their feet...shatter their dreams...
Raghunandan...helpless and lifeless...
abandons his beloved Sitae...
She is sent to the forest...
He lives her every moment...
His only companion her statue...
he pours his heart out to her...
his life barren...bereft and stripped of every happiness...
She lives for her twin sons...her Ram in front of her ..
He comes for her ...after years...ready to defy every rule for her...
his life had no meaning without her
But her journey had to come to an end...
Her purpose of life was over...
She is taken in by mother earth ...lovingly...
her weary heart needed some rest..
Ram is left alone again...yearning for Sitae..
His soul partner...
Their sacrifices for the humanity surpassed all other sacrifices...
their lives were examples for the people ...
Bhagavad Gita reminds us
'Whatever a great man does others would follow'..
But in truth they were Lakshmi Narayan...
brought on the earth for a purpose ..
through their leela they showed the world how to adhere to your Dharma...
how to do their duty...
The journey of Ram n Siya was most beautiful..and soulful...
it would be remembered for ages to come..
In short Siya and Ram are
