This was the beautiful sentence of today and will form the basis of AP also. Sita's trust on him is his power.
In a marriage first 4 rounds a husband walks in front, and the last 3 rounds the lady walks in front and he follows.
What makes the lady walks forward, it is the trust that is created between them through the actions of the husband in the first 4 rounds.
It is the same case with Ram-Sita. Ram crossed the ocean, came to Lanka, waged the war and defeated Ravan.
Now he is in a problem. He is not just Siyaram but also Raghunandan. And to be raghunandan and Siyaram, he wants Siya to take charge.

Trusting him understanding his dilemma he wants her to solve the confusion for him. yes the path is tough, but then there is no other way Raghunandan can be Siyaram.

When Sita gives AP he wants her to understand the AP is not for him, but to ensure he does the duty of Raghunandan.
When exile is given to her, it is again he wants her trust that to do the duty of raghunandan he needs her support in raising their kids alone. He wants her trust that he has not abandoned her, only safeguarded her reputation. He wants her trust that all his decisions are in best interest of her as well as praja.

And without that trust Sita had in him Ram would never have been Maryadapurushottam. Because he allowed his wife to walk in front because he knew only then he can do both duties. Never mind she went ahead of him and he became Siyaram.

PS: Guys ironically the same dialogue I used in my fiction Seven Vows and as far it goes it holds a lot of significance in that story also as the story unfolds. But I never expected Ram to tell that dialogue, that too the exact words I used in my fiction. I was surprised to say the least on the coincidence

Beautiful post Di
it is Sita who shoulders his responsibility when the burden of whole raghukul falls on him. For what happened to shanta what happens to Sita painfully and finally brings about change killing ravan in the minds of ayodha praja
Sita ram and raja ram can be kept together only if Sita understands her raghunandar
It is the uttar Kand where we see naarayani's leela to the fullest making her worthy of worship for teaching humanity the way of life and being the compassionate mother always

Seven vows is unfolding very beautifully Di read some 5 chapters now.

Thanks Shivam. Many woman tell they want freedom, tell in saat phere she too walks in front. But the question is when time comes how many woman can act, instead of react.
How many can understand the dilemma of their husband and take a proper stand, to support him. Many woman lament he didn't do this to me, that to me. And my question is when it mattered the most what were you doing.
If he doesn't give you respect, have you done something to gain it instead of just sitting and crying.

Beautiful post Di👏👏
sply your way of looking at the pheras 👍🏼...
It's the faith which binds husband and wife together first.. Love comes afterwards.. Infact love itself is a form of faith... It was Sita's faith on Ram that she chose to marry him in swayamvar (though it was kept as a competition but Sita had faith that Ram will come ) ... it was her faith in Ram that she followed him to exile.. her faith in Ram that she could stay in hostile conditions in Ashok vatika nd wait for him. And now for Agnipariksha she needs to pose her trust in Ram again. And this trust made Raghnandan Ram , SiyaRam

Looking forward to how SKR deals with AP.. till now they have beautifully weaved Shri Ram's character.. hope they are able to do justice in this track as well...

Love post Shruthi...When Sita assumed the form of Chandi to destroy S Raavan and left un noticed she has already taken the lead.
Remember when Lakshman refused to part with Indrajit's head she is the one that convinces him to do so...When Sulochana tries to perform Sati Sita reminds her of what to do...
Just as Ram instills reasoning in the vanar sena and the Asuras, Sita does so in her own way. In that sense the two walk together facing all upheavals and celebrations together.

@vidya you are right. When Sita took the lead also no one understood it is she who is taking lead. Ram is actually making her take the lead to solve his dilemma. Everyone hails Ram only. That is the beauty of Sita's actions. And that is the real Maya of Ramayan also.
Because we notice Panchali taking charge, but till now have not noticed Sita taking charge. But she takes charge
@aditi yes faith and trust are the major bindings in any relation especially hus-wife relations. Ram through his actions gains the trust of Sita and later Sita takes the lead in supporting him in all his endeavours. When you talk about maryada it is this journey that needs to be highlighted. How a man walks to gain the trust of the woman he loves the most and to what extend the woman will go to protect the honor of such a man.

@Shruthi: Nice post.
Ram said your trust is my power. Yes, Sita trusted Ram completely and she believed that he will rescue her from the clutch of Ravan. This trust of Sita gave the strength/power to Ram to complete the task. But I feel, its the trust of Ram on Sita. Ram completely believed that Sita will be waiting for his arrival at all cost even before he got the message through Hanuman.

@Ramya Ram knew what Sita will do if he tells he cannot take her back. He also trusted her very much that if she attempts the step she will be unscathed. Only a man who is so sure of his better half can do what Ram did.
Because if agni takes Sita, for the world it might be suicide, pain of a woman but for Ram it would be trust broken and he would never be the same person again. He waged the war trusting her and when she goes it becomes meaningless.

@Shruthi: Yes, this is what I meant.
The underlining message from the event is trust yourself, you will win. They trusted each other but its Ram's trust on Sita which gave power for him and the same for Sita.
